#AirChiefMarshal N. C. Suri ( @airchiefmarshalncsuri1119 ) served as the Chief of Air Staff of #IndianAirForce from August 1991 to July 1993. A long standing devotee of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, he was awarded the "PARAM VISHISHT SEVA MEDAL" for competent handling of his assignments at successively higher levels and exceptional devotion to duty and qualities of #leadership.
During his illustrious career he has also been awarded with #AtiVishishtSevaMedal, #VayuSenaMedal and #Mentioned in Dispatches. He also received the highest #IraqiAirForce peacetime award for a foreigner (1969-71). In addition he has been the recipient of #NINE #CIVILIAN #AWARDS namely the Shiromani Vijay Shree, Bharat Jyoti, the Millenium Award, the Glory of India International Gold Medal, the International Gold Medal for promoting Universality of Faith, the “#AmbassadorForPeace” award from the Inter-religious and International Federation for #WorldPeace (#London) and the Outstanding Global Punjabi Award 2010.
एयर चीफ मार्शल एन सी सूरी, पीवीएसएम, एवीएसएम, वीएम, एडीसी, 31 जुलाई 1991 से 31 जुलाई 1993 तक भारतीय वायु सेना के 15वें वायु सेना प्रमुख थे।
उन्हें इराकी वायु सेना के सर्वोच्च शांतिकाल पुरस्कार (1969-71) से भी सम्मानित किया गया है। वे अन्य पुरस्कार - शिरोमणि विजय श्री, भारत ज्योति, मिलेनियम अवार्ड, द ग्लोरी ऑफ इंडिया इंटरनेशनल गोल्ड मेडल, द इंटरनेशनल गोल्ड मेडल फॉर प्रमोटिंग यूनिवर्सलिटी ऑफ फेथ, “एंबेसडर फॉर पीस” पुरस्कार अंतर-धार्मिक और इंटरनेशनल फेडरेशन फॉर वर्ल्ड पीस (लंदन) से भी सम्मानित किए गए हैं।
वे बहुत लम्बे समय से भगवान श्री सत्य साई बाबा के भक्त हैं।
