I know I'm a bit late to the party here, but was the band going through a rough patch or something? Jordi and the drummer usually seem so playful and stuff during performances. Here they just looked pissed. The guys playing guitar were the only ones who looked like they were having fun.
Still love them though. And it sounded perfect.

+Loz It's just kinda general positioning :v It's easier to move the mic according to the singers than it is the position. The reason why drummers are at the back is because if you were to put them at the front since stages and concert halls are designed to project the sound forward the reaction time for the other band members would be delayed. By having the drummer at the back the bassist and guitarist get immediate response to the tempo and can better adjust themselves.
artet64 but some bands perform with the drummer still at the back but to the side slightly, and the guitarist and piano or whatever next to them so then it's a bit more spaced out and not a diamond shape style thing?
+Loz idk i guess its preference xP they are in a studio too (i think?) but they also only have 4 people so a diamond is probably the main formation
