  • Today, we decided we would go into more depth about Asexuality. Specifically we will be diving into some unanswered questions from the last video we did on this topic. We will also be covering some of the terms that fall under the Asexuality umbrella.

    This was not a disastrous video at all. It was very informative and went into more detail about asexuality than most of what I’ve seen. Plus it’s not just an academic discussion but something that pertains to your lives, and that makes it more interesting.

    Many men get married with someone thinking that sex is going to be the main "attraction" in their life and when they realise that you spent so much more time dealing with other things outiside of sex, like doing the dishes or cleaning up or washing and taking care of your cloths, paying the bills and working for the money to take care of everything, they most often will divorce rapidly because it is a lot more of other things and sex is often so little time compare to all the rest.
    Love you guys, ,you are so natural and I do not mind the randomness of your discourse. Keep being who you are, that is what we love about you two, you are so real. It is refreshing.

    There should be a second “L” in LGBT+ just for how lovely the two of you are with one another 🥰

    Thus oriented asexual plus is how you describe yourselves the plus being the “urges.” The final vlog product was not a disaster. Very informative and it certainly gave me a better understanding of both asexuality as well as your relationship.

    This video was informative and well spoken, as usual, and was definitely not a disaster. Your willingness to always be open and honest about your individual lives and relationship sets you apart from the overwhelming majority of TH-camrs and does not go unnoticed or unappreciated. Keep posting more great content!

    Hi guys I must say I find your videos very informative, I am a gay man from the uk and been living with my husband for 45 years and you are right it's being romantically attracted to someone that's important in a relationship, for us sex played an important part but we have not had sex for over a decade and yet I think we are happier than we've ever been (ok we are a couple of old farts) but as they say Love is Love. Take care of each other

    Introverted or extroverted….we are all social creatures. We are not made to be alone. And conversation is just “thinking out loud”.

    Aww I love you guys. U are such an amazing couple and I really appreciate the honesty about your relationship. I would give anything to meet somebody on the same level as you guys who appreciate each other and enjoy spending time together. Sex is so over-rated, if it happens it's nice, but it's not expected and not an issue if it doesn't happen. I have had 6 LTR in my life and almost every one of them has seemed to have been based on the physical side. I would love somebody with the same interests to just share time with. You guys are so amazing and sweet. Much love from the UK

    Being autistic there is rigidity, and sensitivities that can be hard to describe. Touch, sound, social mental development. Touch, could be so sensitive that it can even become violent. The wrong sounds can melt you down that almost lead to a seizure. Rigidity of thought so routine that it inhibits your mental development especially toward thinking of relationships in a sexual tone. Obviously, this would take a partner that can be extremely understanding, and expecting this from someone is completely unreasonable.

    You talk around and around without getting into the specifics leaving people to wonder about the details. "I think they kinda mean that... and they definitely say what they DON'T MEAN in the way of exploitation" which many of us can recognize, but then there are some who WANT THAT.

    This is a great video! I am interested in clarifying what you mean by having a physical attraction to eachother- do you mean like a sensual attraction (wanting to cuddle and stuff) or like aesthetic (thinking the other person is beautiful like a painting kinda thing) 😊

    My sexuality is the Gay version of Orchidsexual, which is where a person experiences physical attraction, but doesn’t have any interest in/is disgusted by the thought of sexual intercourse. It’s for people that prefer romance. I guess you could call it homo-orchidsexual. It really seems likely a minority number of people in that group too. I’m also neurodivergent too.

      i'm an asexual gay male (married to an alosexual) and I was very curious about this as well a few years ago...had mine tested and I'm in the "normal" range.

    • @dasnixblix4846
      @dasnixblix4846 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      As far as I know, testosterone (or any other hormones) only effect the libido/sex drive and not the desire for partnered sexual activity or whether or not we feel what others call sexual attraction. As a matter of fact, most asexuals have an unoriented libido and masturbate, so there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with hormone levels ;-)

  • @TheDarkestSecrets

    Because asexuality means you don't feel the need to have sex, but still you fall in love of a person (men or women)

    Wish you would have felt comfortable giving examples of what you are comfortable with. Do you and Elijah get each other off, or do you just share a bed and frustrate each other?

    • @JoeP44
      @JoeP44 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @allan Willis, Your knowledge of asexuality is clearly non-existent. Claiming that asexual couples “get in bed and frustrate each other” is extremely rude and disrespectful. Educate yourself before posting comments on a public forum and making yourself look like an ignorant fool.

  • @eawillis

    Neither one of you wear ACE rings. Is there a reason why you don't wear ACE rings?

    • @JoeP44
      @JoeP44 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Allan Willis, An “ACE ring”? If you think all your thinly veiled homophobic comments are “humorous” or align with your self-proclaimed “christianity” nothing could be further from the truth.
      Save your false proselytizing for videos posted by the minority of ignorant bigots who believe your hateful BS - which do not exist among Devin and Elijah’s loyal followers.

    • @normanreviewsgames698
      @normanreviewsgames698 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JoeP44 I'm late to the party I know, but Ace rings are a thing and I wear one myself. It's a black ring worn on the right middle finger, if one chooses to wear it. Some Aces do, some don't.

  • @eawillis
    @eawillis ปีที่แล้ว

    If you don't have sexual interest, what brought you and Elijah together? Are you just friends, or is there more to your relationship? I don't understand your reasoning for marrying each other if there is no sexual attraction.

    • @JoeP44
      @JoeP44 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @Allan Willis, Based on the ignorance and quantity of thinly veiled hate and bigotry that this fake “christian” troll has posted in dozens of comments the list of subjects that “Allan” fails to understand (to cite his own words) would fill a huge library.
