I in fact was a Savatage fan since they started, but I didn't know they transformed into TSO, but when I first heard TSknethere was a subtle familiarity I couldn't put my finger on, until I finally heard Christmas Eve Sarajevo 12/24, and it hit me like an Amtrack at full speed and it dawned on me where I heard this band before. You are correct my friend, what Paul O'Neill created was a gift from God, and an epiphany that was incredible.
My dad played this for me at 7-8 years old. We loved it because traditional Christmas music gets so redundant. Now I’m 26 and play it for my son who’s 3. He loves it so much. Specifically this song he asks to play over and over!
Listening to this with a nice, full sound system is insane. It's so playful and just blasts you with a full spectrum experience. Definitely got the neighbors attention.
Ive been hearing this song every year during Christmas since 2018 at a Christmas and ever since I first heard it I knew this was the king of Christmas songs, period
Finally found this song! Let's go man! Last time I heard this was when I was watching Christmas lights and eating ice cream at this church. The lights were across from the church so you had to park at the church. This song is amazing and epic!
ah back in the day when this song was played over literally every Christmas light show in existence. I mean I can't say I blame them. it is a perfect light show song.
Yeah fr most Christmas music is overplayed so many times like “All I want for Christmas is you” and “Feliz Navidad”. I’m sick of those songs, but I could listen to Trans Siberian Orchestra any day of the week
@@pokemich8417 nice man just yesterday i came across the song wizards in winter and thought it was amazing glad you recommended that song just heard it and i like it a lot
Alabaster stared out the bottom of ball turret beneath the sleigh. As he gazed out the window with his quad tube white phosphor pvs14s lighting circles around his eyes. "Most elves spent their whole lives in the north pole" he thought. "Spend all that time wanting to get out and see some of the magical world they spend their whole lives spreading joy to." He chuckled to himself. If they only knew as he scanned the night sky, biting down on a peppermint stick while his eyes struggled to detect any movement through the unrelenting blizzard at 23,000 feet. At last, he saw fleeting shadows. He made a radio call to the main deck, "4 KRAMPUS, 8 O CLOCK LOW!" and opened fire with his dual .50s. Their tracers lighting up each snow flake as they passed at what seemed like light speed. He felt the sudden jerk of the sleigh, throwing his tiny body nearly into the glass of his turret. He looked over his shoulder to the front, and could see Rudolph drop chaff as he banked, throwing off the AA batteries. He adjusts himself back into his turret and shakes off what felt like a ton of bricks hitting him. "O holy night, this is only the first house" he thought as he gets back to guns....the peppermint grinding against his teeth as he wishes he could take a shot of hot cocoa. It's going to be a long night.
Just bought my tickets for TSO December 22, 2021 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. I am very happy to be able to see them again after COVID forced TSO to stay off the road in 2020. Can hardly wait.
The fact an 80s METAL BAND (Savatage) created an ORCHESTRA in order to make CHRISTMAS METAL and became THE Christmas band (TSO) is just incredible.
Wait... what?!
They're Savatage? I had no idea! That's awesome!

Well it does get a bit old after a while. But the traditional stuff has stood the test of time and shouldn't be easily swept under the rug.
The lyrics must mean something though?
That 16th note run from all the strings and guitar at the end is literally too good. Gets stuck in my head.
Someone in my class said, rock cannot be played in with Christmas music. Played this song. Let’s just his mind was blown away by it.
Got to see this song live in Ottawa last month. The light show was INSANE!!!!
Caught the Tulsa, OK show this year. Best concert I have ever gone to! A new yearly tradition for me and the family!

I've seen Trans Siberian Orchestra twice, and this song is AMAZING live. 10 out of 10, would definitely recommend. Also, HAPPY JØL, YT!!!
wait, is that the same pronunciation as the umlaut O ?? (ø vs ö)
When this song is played, I just imagine an intense snow-boarding race taking place. It fits so well with this song
They are like a hard rock version of Christmas music.
no shit
Like?
Magnificent rock and roll music for Christmas
I don't always listen to TSO, but when I do, everyone does. 😆
There's only one way to listen to Trans-Siberian....cranked up to ELEVEN.

Especially my High School who did this until 2018 at least (We had a Electronic and Computer Programming class)
I’m here because of World of Color. I’m so pleased.😇
Trans-siberian orchestra you Christmas 🎄 music is uplifting and awesome my friend 🎄
Boblin the Goblin’s not fucking around anymore. He’s got 9th level magic missile and chill touch and you’re fucked now.

Nothing like TSO and August Burns Red's Sleddin' Hill album to keep your holiday season merry and metal.

Love when my sister's Tesla sings this song 🤣😁
I know most of the comments are already about Tesla but on Christmas Eve I actually got to actually play it with the doors flying and everything
I'm playing this for Orchestra, and let me tell you, the transition from arco(bowing) to pizzicato(plucking) is a lot harder to play than it sounds.
The only instrument I ever really gave up on:
Violin.
I love that this is the song Tesla chose for the Model X-mas might show

This has better music than most game boss music
