Brand new subscriber. Thanks for the vlog! First, I am sold on Sheehans! Second, what were your thoughts on buffet and third, what was your thoughts on the entire ship? My wife and I are sailing on her in October. Thank you!

We didn’t eat at the buffet because there are so many other great options on board that are a more relaxing experience (buffets on any cruise ship tend to be more chaotic than the sit down options). O’Sheehan’s, Taste and Savor all offer full service dining at no extra charge. So, that is where you would find us most of the time. That said, the food and the layout of the Garden Café buffet on NCL Escape is better than we have found on most other cruise lines we have sailed on.
As for the ship in general, it is definitely one of our favorites. It is huge with the capacity for many passengers. However, there are so many areas to spend your time without running into crowds. Just be prepared for tons of people, and a slow process during embarkation and disembarking the ship. The ship and crew will make up for those experiences the rest of the time you are onboard. Cagney’s is priced a la carte. Steaks alone were $30-$50 on our last cruise. If you want to book Cagney’s, reserve it as part of a specialty dining package and pay much less for plenty of food. Thanks for watching!
