    Bio for Brian Hoyland
    Brian began his adult life by joining the U. S. Army Military Police after high school. He served his country all over the world and was disabled due to injuries sustained during service. He then went on to obtain a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and started working as a psychotherapist with other combat veterans in the Department of Veterans Affairs. Brian has also worked as a program director and clinical supervisor with criminal offenders, and after joining a private company working with recently released offenders, he suffered a major heart failure. This was just the beginning of what his life would be like for the next couple of years.

      I have only started this video but the narrator makes Purgatory sound like a final destination which is false. All in Purgatory are heaven bound. Peace.

    Been studying these NDE's for 31 years: Seems like many common threads for all of us to discern are common denominators in these experiences. Frequent the Confessional and stay in a state of grace!

    What a beautiful testimony! Thank you Brian for sharing it. Did you ever find who was the donor of your heart? God Bless you and your family always. The 3 recommendations from Jesus are very comforting for me at this time. I feel he gives me the strength in The Holy Eucharist to advance towards #2.

      You’re welcome. Thank you for your kindness. No I have not find who my donor is. I agree you with the suffering joyfully is difficult but it comes down to knowing that in life bad and good will come to us and all will suffer something at some point but trusting the Lord gives us hope and that hope is well placed. It’s so well placed that we can even find joy in our suffering because of how close he is to us during suffering because of his immense LOVE for us. God bless you and your family 🕊

    As of late it has been very difficult to believe in God's love. I am the only one of my entire family that has attempted to remain faithful to Christ in the church. For this I received a lifetime of blindness, poverty, and loneliness. All sorts of misfortunes. while those around me live good lives and have all they want and need. Thanks for your mercy. I'm done.
    I feel like such a fool having believed in this stuff for years.

    So sad when Jan said, "You did not have The Beatific Vision or you would not be here". How do we know what The Beatific Vision is if people have not survived to tell us? Brian plainly has had a beatific vision, and what Brian describes is amazing.

    • @uponthisrocktelevisionmini4787
      @uponthisrocktelevisionmini4787  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Patricia, this is a Catholic program and therefore it adheres to the teaching of the Catholic Church which was established by its founder Jesus Christ. The "beatific vision" is not an experience for the life of a Christian who sojourns under our current circumstances albeit guided by the light of the faith of Christ. However, our faith in Christ teaches that the beatific vision describes our reward with Christ in heaven. When we profess each Sunday our faith in the creed, we reaffirm that we believe in "everlasting life" or "eternal life," which experience does not pertain to our sojourn in faith here before our death. To explain myself better here is the quote from The Catholic Catechism, number 1027, in the section on "eternal life":
      "This mystery of blessed communion with God and all who are in Christ is beyond all understanding and description. Scripture speaks of it in images: life, light, peace, wedding feast, wine of the kingdom, the Father's house, the heavenly Jerusalem, paradise: 'no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him.' [1 Cor 2:9]"
      The Catechism of the Catholic Church continues to explain this tenant of our faith in the following number (1028):
      "Because of his transcendence, God cannot be seen as he is, unless he himself opens up his mystery to man's immediate contemplation and gives him the capacity for it. The Church calls this contemplation of God in his heavenly glory 'the beatific vision': 'How great will your glory and happiness be, to be allowed to see God, to be honored with sharing the joy of salvation and eternal light with Christ your Lord and God, . . . to delight in the joy of immortality in the Kingdom of heaven with the righteous and God's friends.' [St. Cyprian, Epistle 58, 10, 1]"
      And again the Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches that this blessedness in heaven allows a connection of the saints with the rest of men and women in our current conditions of sojourn on this earth. In the following number (1029) so much is stated:
      "In the glory of heaven the blessed continue joyfully to fulfill God's will in relation to other men and to all creation. Already they reign with Christ; with him 'they shall reign for ever and ever.' [Rev 22:5]"
      St. Paul in second Corinthians, chapter 12, discusses his extraordinary experience but this experience did not seem to be identified with the ultimate reward awaiting faithful Christians when the Lord returns in glory at the end of time (2 Tim 4:8). Catholic authors usually see in 2 Cor 12 a phenomenon called "extasis," which has nothing to do with a dissociated state of the mind induced by the consumption of drugs, and everything to do with a special grace from the Lord that is not necessary for salvation (gratia gratis data) but for the good of the Church.

      Anything else is a fallacy. Only Jesus Christ is the saviour and Lord.
      For him to say he felt Mary's warmth is a LIE OF THE DEVIL.
