I LOVE LOVE this pattern! Excellent tutorial but easy pattern, its all rectangles and the finished product is perfect! I've made two so far! Its an easy sew 😌. Thank you for this awesome pattern and tutorial.
I’ve never used zipper tape before. When purchasing the tape, I’m guessing that I will have to buy some end caps and zipper pulls? Can you tell me the exact names for these parts please?
Linda Sellick all you need is zipper tape and pulls unless you want to make jacket zippers. I sell zipper tape by the metre with or without pulls. If purchased with pulls , I include 4 pulls per metre but you can also get them individually if you need more.

Love the pattern. what do you tell people like me how to cut the pattern out when can't cut straight even w quilting ruler or anything help cut?
What is that fabric of the finished backpack that you show the first part of the video? I love it!!!
Am definitely thinkinhg i will have to purchase this pattern
I’m using a cotton linen fabric for the exterior fabric and the interior fabric. Would you recommend interfacing them?
I would still add a lightweight fusible.
Can I use waterproof canvas for the interior or it would be too heavy? I would appreiciate the advice
I think this would depend on how thick your canvas is but I would probably not use it for this pattern.
@@bluecallapatterns Thank you for responding, I will use quilting cotton instead as you show in your tutorial
I’m using something quite a bit heavier than quilting cotton for my exterior pieces, do you still recommend interfacing these pieces?
Linda Sellick I probably wouldn’t. If you can use something coordinating that is thinner for the casing, I would do that.
@@bluecallapatterns thank you. That's what I was thinking too. Also, thanks for replying asap.
