this was a really cool video, thanks for sharing. I think the first time I saw a real care baby was the Gen 4 in high school as well. I bet that key was a killer, I remember when my sister had one she was annoyed by the whole thing lol! I probably would've been that kid that asked to take it home for fun like you did, but I was too scared to ask. they've certainly come a long way since they first came out.
the xstick works great with these dolls.

Doesn’t work that way because it had to be twisted and held in that position. Doesn’t matter anymore since they no longer make those kind anymore

Thank you. The second video at least helped me narrow down my doll to a BTIO and not a RC or Ready or Not Tot.

Can you use the ID that you would use for the original in the real care 2, and would u be able to make the ID respond to u as the mom or dad by doing the method by touching its back 3 times

+eve Guerra That's pretty much a big mystery. No one seems to really know. But I have heard some people use to strip paints off of play dolls and repainted them as far back as the early 90s I believe I read somewhere. But no one seems to know who first had the idea to do it.
Life with Krystle they were used for the secon world war so that when they took the babies/kids that wouldn't miss them I think
+Tony Castellanos but the term reborn wasn't used until the 90s because the process of reborning is to strip factory paint and repainted it to look real

Yes I am aware of that. There isn't any way for them to be with all the electronics inside.
