    I live in Stewarts point behind my place there is little creek that drains into the south fork river i panned in it before found a little flake and a small green arrow head,my cousin said there is black sand farther down.come on up when you can i plan on going back in soon.

    buddy I could tell you about 100 dofferent things wring you did and why you didn't find anything beside fly poop,
    but the main thing is getting iut there and doing it and having fun, learning how to know were to look and were to dig, problem was you scooped up loose ass sand wich is all iber burden and not worth nothing. just a heads up and the only tip ill give is go very deep into cracks, crevices and behind boulders and find packed in river rock and then you'll know your on the rite path..heavy pans

    I have got a piece of pig-iron in my front yard. I thought it might have come from a dragging brake on a rail car. The real story of what it is, is even better. Thanks again.

    Hi my friend and fellow gold prospector I’ve been up there a couple times and I can’t figure out how to get down to the river did you walk along the track or did you take that old PG&E trail or is there another way to get down underneath that bridge I live in Oroville and it’s only a half hour drive for me I wanna go explore the little town of Pulga but right where you are looks like the perfect place not only for panning for gold but for a little piece to the soul thank you very much buddy

      I was on a claim at this spot, the acces is by walking the tracks, also in the gem trails of calif book , there is a location , a hike from pulga to some garnets, says it's a mile or so uphill, it's on my to do list, I've had some set backs ,so could be a while for me, but the book has clear directions I always wanted to try, good luck if you go! , and , be safe !

    Do you have Sasquatch stories? Feather River is more spooky than any valleys or canyons in Alaska. Have you ever prospected in Cherokee? We had strange encounters there with a very strange local.

    What camera are you using? It seems to be really good at focusing very close on a whim without you needing to switch to another lens.

    Holy Moly: I know Steve Greene, He is the one who landed a Bell Jet Ranger in the Arctic right next to a 10’2 Sasquatch that got caught in an open field. Walking back to bird he held camera up to pan horizon and record the mining claim monument. The reason for landing there. Did not realize for months after until it was caught in a frame freeze to see anomaly. Been subject of contention second to Patterson now. TH-cam Koyukuk Monster.

    Why would anyone give you any flack? Anyways... that did look like a killer spot. You are inspiring me, I can go down the road and pan gold any time here in Indiana. It is in almost every creek that one can find gravel! You have an excellent opportunity for some nuggets and at least some coarse gold, my creeks yield mostly flour gold but I can get some pickers occasionally! Do not mind the haters...
    I heard that song there at the end, not too sure what kind of music you really listen to but this is what that reminded me of:

    Ummm, pulga and the north fork over the feather river was NOT the hub of the calif gold rush! Although gold was found both up and down stream of this spot which I'm not going to name. That place your at has had more footprints left than what it looks like, every hand sized rock has been touched and moved several times....

    • @QuestForDetails
      @QuestForDetails  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I was referring to this area of the sieras, the " mother load district " as the hub. As compared to other parts of the state, ..no its not sutters mill obviously, but same general little zone in a vast mountain range. As you say, every rock in this area was turned over, ...but then a million more tons of rock just slid in this winter, so fresh pickings.
