Here's a tip for my fellow solos, you don't need to armor the foundation before you honey comb, just don't place the window frame until you have enough resources because you can still have the shelf in the tc room and everything with no window frame and it'll still let you place it later on meaning while you're still just starting off you can fully build the base without having to worry about the tc foundation like mentioned in the vid and then when you've got like 50 HQM you can upgrade the tc foundation and wall then place the window frame and upgrade it and boom you didn't need to delay the honeycomb
3000 rust hours, spending hours to find a good base, and you drop this thing 2 hours before my wipe, big goat. + 1 Like, +1 Sub. This shooting gap floor or external tc build is just ridiculoussly amazing. thanks from belgium.

I just tried this out and added a nice addition to the lookout floor, if you have carpets and have the camo skin you can place these over the small gaps concealing even more where you are shooting from, the only weakness to this is that it hinders your own vision a little bit. But an awesome build as per usual and great and clear commentary.
Just made this base. I love it! So much fun! I added a triangle hatch the the furnace Jump up for a little extra raid cost :) thanks for the video
Dude that bunker is so easy to implement and do. I generally play solo and this looks so easy and cost effective to do. For sure going to use this as my early starter and honestly might become my main. I guess we shall see!

Very good build! It’ will be good if u do a solo/duo base like Spinneret, but with stronger raid cost for Vanilla or 2x. You are the best builder that I know.

Putting this roof peek setup on a furnace base is kinda busted. I figured it out myself, but I'd love to see your spin on that concept crow! As someone with 8k hours, and at least 2k building small group bases, you are the goat!

Great base ive used it for the past 3 wipes, however in the majn base segment you forgot to mention upgrading the tc roof to armored, this effectively makes the base a 4 c4 raid
Very good base design. Me and my group have used it for 3 wipes now. Have made a lot of modifications to it. Made it bigger, open core, and roof shooting floor on top of these peaks. No one has attempted to raid use yet

just finished day 2 in a slightly modified version of this base, probably the most fun ive had in a wipe. love the design and hope to see my base still standing in the morning.
adding onto this, unfortunately i was AFK when i got offlined, but i made a china wall around it and had some fun PVP and 1 online defense too, easily one of my new favorite designs.

Im currently using this with my friends in rust console , I have 3 of them inside 3 compound layers with turrets and each one has a pixel gap hqm bunker to increase raid cost , got raided twice and both of them failed with 0 loot XD

That's very nice
If your square roof colapses, add double door frames in your main living area. That increases the stability enough to hold the roof.
Excellent design, Crow. I added a Vending machine too. The jumpup left wall changed for window frame, and the right wall behind it to door frame to house it. You can reach it from underneath the jumpup if you sacrifice one shotgun trap. U are right that finding propper terrain might be a little tricky.
I think you missed the wallframe in the jump up.

np. vending machine is a nice touch, it's actually much easier to find the correct kind of terrain in the snow, desert or the beach.

i would love to see a version using the 6 triangle starter. a wizard-ish tower, with this same roof style. not a big fan of 2x1 starters.
this is honestly my favourite base design of all time i use it for every server but always run out of loot room so i added a extra floor for more loot

Nice base it’s defendable and it’s around 35-40 rockets if you upgrade it but overall it’s a good base another w by crow

the shooting floor is sick as fuck, we can make variations to any other base. never seen anything as good as that before.
I like a lot your base designs and for duo I usually do the Pegasus ll but the only problem I see is that it doesn’t have enough inner peaks can u please do another Pegasus base but just adding better inner peaks and it would be perfect

would have loved to see a splash test.. last time I tried a bunker like this you could dmg the twig from outside even hiding it in the terrain

Would using a roof skin be better on these builds or is the cover from the original stone best?
is there any point to the shop front when its mostly covered by the roof?
Quick fix if you don’t have terrain like that for some reason if you build an octagon shape right on the outside of where the two roofs would be you can’t shoot the twig foundation but you can see it

Trying to place roof triangles on the console seems very hard I can’t do it 😂😭 unless I do them facing outward (for the corners on the roof). I actually managed to do it found placing floors temporarily made it easier to place them so if u suck like me that’s the way to go :)

As a strong builder, i can give this design 10/10 for the fresh and strong idea, however, it can be upgraded.
Great base I love it! But if raiders shoot trough the gap (roof), because of the splash damage it wil become a 15 rockets raid.

I’ve built the main base variant of this, and it’s great I’m loving it. But how can I get reliable power? I don’t like using generators, and I can’t really think of a safe place to put solar panels or a wind turbine. I thought about replacing one of the barbed wire with a big wind turbine tower but I’m not sure if that’s a good idea, what do you think?
