As an Australian, of course no country wants to be known as a "Poor country". Nepal is spectacular, in the middle of two economic giants. The most amazing, diverse and culturally rich country in the world.
To all my Nepali brothers and sisters in the comment section - the caption is actually very complimentary, what is the offense here? To be rich and have a big heart is easy but he's saying that despite the poverty, we are actually more gracious to our guests than we can be - our economy is literally 25% of Jeff Bezos' net worth, ONE PERSON IS 5 TIMES RICHER THAN OUR ENTIRE COUNTRY, yes we are poor but we make up for it with our hearts. Nepal is a paradise in comparison to India ( almost a hell !). The biggest difference between India and Nepal is, that Nepal does not have beggars whereas India has as much beggars as that the population of Nepal. Beggars are terrible and we are not used to beggars.
You should never ever put down someone infront of yourself. Beggar isn't a choice.. it's the situation that puts us into such tragedy. We hold personal grudges towards them..but we should always remember..the good principals taught to us by our ancestors..I understand..you being supportive towards us Nepalese.. but this isn't the way and I don't think he said something very offensive.. that's such a huge compliment that he addressed.. and we should continue to be nice people..towards everyone. And the statements you made.. is no where close to being a good example.
Overall the country might be poor but the land in so many cities are expensive than America and Europe! We can’t even afford it! I wish we could afford land there!

I went to Ghorepani in January, It was really snowing but after a long day of Hike we reached Ghorepani at last. It was night time but as we woke up in the morning and went to poonhill. It was the best fucking scene ever

I went to Ghorepani in January, It was really snowing but after a long day of Hike we reached Ghorepani at last. It was night time but as we woke up in the morning and went to poonhill. It was the best fucking scene ever
