If you grew up in the 70s or 80s in the US/Canada before the advent of cable tv you would have seen plenty of his painting sessions (he died in ‘95) and it’s _”Joy of Painting”_
To add to the outrage; a different Sainsbury’s had new sets in Weds. I went in at lunch and the CMF box was emptied! Clearly someone emptied the whole box into their trolley
The problem with the CMFs is the stores fault. There’s no reason that they couldn’t have presorted them ahead of time and/or they could scan them at time of purchase with a “only 3 of each character” limit or whatever
The stores have to sell them as mystery boxes, so if someone walks up with 10 they can't scan them. Them being able to presort was always a bit of a grey area for the stores.
The added the flat car to the western train and added like ten extra minifigs because the LEGO design team doesn’t know how to make a set without a ton of “stories”. Same for the other 4 sets. The siege encampments gained like a ton of minifigs as well. Of course LEGO won’t allow for new minifig designs so it’s really scummy
@TheBrickBods Funicular is a much better word!! I've been on at least four funiculars during my travels over the years, I would not have the same urge to ride on a rack railway 🙂

@@theminifigwho how rude! This release seems to be plagued with annoyingness!!!

It’s a rack railway, not a funicular
That's not as fun a word to say
@ maybe, but they are 100% different

Terry Pratchett died in ‘15. This is a morose Bodcast
I’m glad I just buy a case from minifiguresplus(dot)com so I can avoid this mess
