Could it be a determinate variety that matures all of its fruit at once and then dies? Thank you for this experiment so that we won’t waste our time with this one.
You might try Aztek, a micro-dwarf yellow tomato. Has better flavor than almost any other Open Pollinated micro-dwarf (IMO). Also, there is a hybrid called Patio Choice Yellow that beats all O.P. micro-dwarfs for flavor. It is what I would call a "mini-dwarf." I don't know what it would do in a hydro setup. In a 12" basket, it get 12-18" tall.
Happy Hydroponics gardening to you too!! Really enjoy your videos. Thank you!!
Excellent video!
Thank you so much for these tips.

You should try the mega cherry tomatoes
I have the pods from Aerogarden, Just waiting for the opportunity to start them.
@@aerogardenexperiments I think you may prefer them over the mighty mini

No, I have no clue yet but I guess it is just natural with some plants or plant varieties.

Yes, I have growing at the moment. Today crossed day 75 and loaded with young tomatoes. I am excited for it.
Very strange about the foliage! I wonder if whatever the problem is with the foliage also impacted the flavor of the tomatoes?
I tried these once and found the taste terrible. Yanked out the plants and will never try them again. Mine did have more leaves.
I tried these. they were very bad. For pre seeded pods you are better off with the Red Heirloom Cherry Tomatos
Maybe not enough N to produce more leaves? Next time add calcium nitrate.
hmm I was feeding right amount of nutrition all the time.
