I was planning MG hector petrol sharp dct, but after watching and understanding jeep technically, will definitely plan the S model petrol dct. My only question is how responsive is dct if compared with MG because I felt it’s little laggy and the response is slow.
Also, there is no glove box and sunglasses holder in jeep which is a little disappointing more over if there were volume keys on the steering wheel it would have made things a little easier.
If I am missing on any fact do let me know, also if you can make a comparison video of hector sharp dct vs jeep s dct. It would help people to make good decisions. Thanks a ton man

The compass is a handsome SUV and looks bigger & grander than it's competition!
I own a Trailhawk, and the two things I hate about it are the 9-speed auto, and I also had the stop start system.
Price will play crucial role for its success .. otherwise it would continue to miss the boat 👍

Why do people even compare Jeep Compass with Creta, Seltos or Harrier? It is a segment above them. May be Harrier is close but Creta and Seltos are in a completely different segment.

I’m planning to buy the 1.4 ltr Petrol Automatic version but am somewhat confused as have seen some videos talking about the engine being a bit sluggish. Would be great if someone can help with a genuine feedback on this piece.
Bro everyone cannot afford compass and you are planning to buy compass,it means have that amount of money so go for it it's build quality will amaze you 👍don't consider creta or seltos they are just big size tin cans

I am not satisfied with mileage of jeep compass petrol automatic it gives around 7 kmpl in city & hardly 10kmpl on highway , so I will suggest u to buy jeep compass diesel automatic

New compass looks even more upmarket.
They should handle the service part though, I feel better going to a Toyota service center than the Jeep/Fiat one.
On the other note, Fortuner costs less per service than a compass.

While we were considering the compass the only drawback was our experience from the service center gathered at the time of routine service of my Punto, burnt clutches, brake pads getting worn out within first 10000kms, having rotors getting turned in lathe because of vibrations, were a regular complaint of many of the compass owners, and on the top of that a lackluster and unsatisfying approach of the service center, which made us to not make it a part of our fleet for premium customers, and not even as a personal vehicle, hence we got the Fortuner.
For the other part, if your are questioning the reliability of a Toyota than maybe you haven't experianced a Toyota first hand .My trust in Toyota comes from my uncle's Car Rental business where he owns more than a dozen Crystas and have owned, used and replaced many more with another crysta.
Do you own a compass? Have they sorted out such problems? Is the service experience now improved? because it wasn't that good in September 2020. An authorised service centre Mechanic, breaking your oil filter mounting assembly and then replacing it one with he owns "personally" (because the "centre" doesn't have that in stock), approaching me for extra Rs800 cash for his "generosity" is the last thing I want from am authorised service centre. Toyota guys never do that, they replace what and if they break, they don't charge me rs900 for washing and vacuuming the car, when my "service package doesn't include washing".
Hope you are having better experience with your Compass if you own one🙂. I am more than happy with my TFort. And look forward to own a Jeep too sans the current service scenario.
They would have increased in width so on back seat three passengers can seat comfortably

As obsevred it is nice to see technical updates but you have not shown the rear seats space which is a very big draw back and a person 5.10 sitting in the driving seat literally there is no leg space fr the rarepassangers which the company has not updated what is the use if my family cannot sit comfortably creta thoug smaller had more leg space than compass biggest drawback

Doesn't matter how premium the interior is...the size of the compass is still the same small size...with the lowest ground Clearance in the segment..195mm ground Clearance is lesser for an suv...

Top gear ⚙️ reviews to me are the best, yet this particular video on Top gear India mag, the review wasn’t the best, it could be a lot better, there are many mistakes and the English used is very muddy. I feel the one reviewing has been quoting lots of inconsistent lines which is indeed unnecessary. For instance quotes like Maserati wasn’t necessary and the screen he quoted on the centre console, where there is different driving modes to choose, clearly that isn’t a screen.
Literally needed a script or else the run down is going here and there, which go further away from being a professional review.
Quality is lit but i heard reliability is not up to the mark. Is it ?? 🙄
