- After pausing for 4 months, I thought another chopper gameplay was in order. Finishing 84-1 while seatswitching on Golmud Railway ... not too shabby.

You were able to do so well only because AA was sleeping. Good AA drivers would not allow you to fly any higher than 20 meters.
+Rauan Mukhamejanov | This is "Conquest Small" gamemode. Enemy mobile AA wasn't sleeping because there simply is none.
+TurboPummel oh okay. Still, there are usually lots of engineers with Stingers or Igla. Two shots and helicopter goes down. Maybe I just played against noob heli drivers, but Stinger usually helps to drive them away from my tank.
+Rauan Mukhamejanov The video is pre-fall update if you didn't realize this. Stingers weren't buffed yet. It was much easier to dominate in the air and it also depends a ton on your team and level of opposition.
+Rauan Mukhamejanov No joke, dude got locked onto maybe twice the entire video? Anytime I get in any aircraft its a constant lock on fest from the moment I take off. I spend more time evading, going low, and hiding then I do hunting armor and infantry.

I dont play BF4, so maybe im missing something but it seems like no one is really attacking you. Your aim looks ok i guess but otherwise from that this looks kinda easy.

Next time maybe you should lesen to use the tow lol but pls dont call urself pro Pilot when u use heatseeker, miss so many easy tv shots and Play on like a noob server that dont even have an aa cuz of the mode^^, in cq small is nothing to beat the Heli exept a good Pilot with tow on the enemy Team.

TurboPummel There was a guy on Golmud Railway on the PS4 seat switching on the same side of spawn you were doing it. Except I shot him out of the air or disabled it with a tank shell from the far side of B flag, while it was high in the air near spawn. BTW bullshit a tank shell would "disable" a Helicopter, but I guess thats battlefield for yah. Also really nice gameplay!

What Can I do against AA ?... Everytime I Play the Viper, i get Killed in seconds
I usually sneak up behind an AA and use my TOW missile +Zunis at the same time. This should take away most of its health almost instantly.
You can then finish it off however you want. I usually switch to TV missile since they tend to use active protection after that and TVs go through them.
+PkmmteXeleon only noob AA drivers will allow this. I personally have thermal monitor and active rockets, so helicopters just go down as soon as they take off. SU-25 or Q-5-Fantan is the one responsible for taking down AAs.
+TheTripodArmy not unkillable . Played couple of times against two really skillful SU-25 and Jet drivers. Could not do shit, just goes on high altitude and then falls down vertically in that way that you can't properly aim and can't move because you are getting damaged. SU-25 shoots and keeps passive radar on you and done, AA down.
It is amazing how nerfed the attack heli is now. Just a few missiles and a tank is disabled in this video.
You were straight up allowed to do this. Play on the server that I do.....and people will hunt you down. Whole squads will come after you with stingers. This isn't that impressive. You are a great pilot, but these players are CRAP.

TurboPummel mad skills man, howcum u changed to flares? Can u shed some light on the differences as after 500 hours I still do not know and I often get hit after my ecm's are deployed which is infuriating wen it's a stinger
+Kieran Goss ECMs role is to deter people from locking on and is actually meant to be used BEFORE the missile is fired. That's why when you deploy your ECM after the missile has been fired, it still follows the vehicle and orbits the vehicle once it reaches it which can sometimes result in a hit depending on how the vehicle is positioned. Flares are used to deter incoming lock on missiles and causes the missiles to divert towards the flares. ECM & Flares can do each other's job, but badly. People often opt for ECMs as the effect of the countermeasure is longer but so is the reload time. I use flares personally, but if you're very close to the person firing stingers then neither will save you from receiving a mobility hit. Hope this helps.

Yea, when the enemy team has no air support whatsoever, this isn't hard to do. You wouldn't be able to freely roam the map and kill things, if someone on the other side could use their mobile AA or jet. So some of this is skill but a bigger part is circumstance and luck.

this guy was really lucky to get such a score using heatseekers and IR flares, looks like the enemy Mobile AA was sleeping but still he earned what he got, not the best but good gameplay.

Why switch 3 times for change position in the hely?
For instant full controll. If u switch from gunner to pilot, engine needs time for full power. But if u switch to pilot/gunner/pilot, ur eninge is instant ready.

Wo genau liegt eigentlich der Sinn darin, als Pilot alleine zu fliegen, außer um Frags zu sammeln!? Die ganzen Seatswitcher sind immer genau die Leute, welche nur mit der TV von der Base schießen, sobald sie mehrmals gekillt wurden, und merken, dass sie anders keine Chance haben. Was nicht heißen soll, dass du jetzt nen schlechter Pilot oder Gunner sein solltest, aber beides zusammen also seatswitchen hat mit Skill wenig zutun.
Platin Verstehe ... und wo campe ich mit dem Heli TVs spammend in der Mainbase? Gerade nicht ...
Der Sinn besteht darin, dass 9/10 Leuten die auf Public Servern in den Heli hüpfen - und die du dann nichtmehr los wirst bis der Heli zerstört ist - GAR NICHTS können. Sie brauchen ein ganzes Gunmagazin auf zuvor mit Zunis vom Piloten markierte Infanteristen um einen von diesen zu töten und sind unfähig die TV raketen des Gunners überhaupt zu nutzen. Das macht den Heli gegenüber dem feindlichen Kampfheli und der mobile AA wehrlos.
Bin ich also alleine auf dem Server, versuche ich tunlichst auch den Heli alleine in die Luft zu bekommen. Ich erreiche zwar nur ca. 70% der Effektivität wie mit einem guten Gunner an Bord, bin aber 200% so effektiv wie mit einem random an Bord.
Ich persönlich habe bis jetzt noch keinen einzigen sogenannten Seatswitcher im gegnerischen Team gesehen, der nicht die ganze zeit von der Base aus schießt, da diese wie so ziemlich jeder andere Pilot abgesehen von den Jet Pros sofort down gehn würden, sobald sie sich ins Feld bewegen.
Mit am meisten nervt es aber, wenn man einen von diesen Leuten im eigenem Team hat, und diese lediglich den Heli blockieren, anstatt wenn sie sowieso nur mit der TV schießen, als Gunner fungieren, so wie es eigentlich sein sollte. Ich persönlich fliege in BF3 auschließlich den Heli, daher nerven mich solche Leute extrem.
Genauso nerven aber natürlich auch die Leute, die ständig meinen müssten, den Heli zu klauen, aber keine 10sec später wieder down gehen. Das Problem mit den Gunnern, die nicht wissen was zutun ist, bzw nichtmal ne TV besitzen, kennt aber jeder.
In der Hinsicht kann ich das schon gewisser Maßen verstehen, allerdings wüsste ich genau, dass selbst du lediglich von der Base schießen würdest, sobald du auf nen Heli triffst, der dich ansonsten jeder Zeit weg holen würde.
Platin Nein, in dem Moment wo ich auf einem Server bin, indem ich mit einem aggressiven Seat-switching nicht überlebe, nehme ich mir einfach selber einen Jet.
