    Cody's head movement in that Cruz fight was masterful. Seemed like he wanted to prove a point on his path back to becoming champ he lost his fundamentals. My god that footwork and head movement was clean, if he can find that form again everyone should watch out

    • @eetfuk3571
      @eetfuk3571 2 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      he's just born to beat Dominick Cruz, and also born to lose to TJ Dillashaw. funny enough that he's having an easy time on Cruz, while the one who KOd him twice can't even land a clean punch on Cruz. this is the Ali, Foreman, Frazier of UFC.

    • @eetfuk3571
      @eetfuk3571 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @Ali Abdelaziz definitely. I actually scored the Cruz vs Garbrandt 48-47 for Garbrandt. No doubt it was a brilliant performance by him, but Cruz' work was actually overlooked by how Garbrandt floored him down more than twice. Cruz actually made it competitive.

    • @eetfuk3571
      @eetfuk3571 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Ali Abdelaziz Cruz is a hard man to beat on decision. Cody was the only one who managed to outpoint him, but it was because of the punching power difference hence why Cody was flooring him down almost over and over. Uriah and Henry are the only fighters who finished Cruz.

    • @manuthegameking
      @manuthegameking 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Hue WongNo you are wrong, it wasn't the loading that's flawed but the holes in his defence, his hands are down when he is loading standing in front of the opponent and it wasn't the speed or power of TJ that Dom didn't have which cost Cody the fights but TJ's timing and his coach's Ludwing's ability to find this hole and exploit it.

Then he gets emotional in the rematch and can't stay composed and then gets too eager and desperate to win a fight against his next opponent that he does the same thing.

If you think he was cheating the whole time, you’re admitting it’s possible usada isn’t catching everyone and you have no idea who’s cheating and just not getting caught like he was. It’s also a bit ignorant to completely write off his performances against Cody when EPO doesn’t make you a better fighter, it helps with Cardio and TJ finished Cody within the first 2 rounds both fights. Also, what’s your excuse for Cody getting worked by Pedro?

    • @sganet_
      @sganet_ 4 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      Kane K. He definitely cheated before, or else how did Cody accurately called it with him on EPO way before he was positive? The way Cody explained it, he knew of it when they were still teammates way back then, so was TJ ever a champ clean? I doubt it.

Watching him go unorthodox one two head kick leg kick straight left under hook knee pick was a thing of beauty. I don’t think anyone flowed better them him mixing a well rounded skill set together offensively like that. Hard to say hes the best since he keeps losing, but his performance against Cruz was legendary. I was so sure he was gonna reign for a while after that, then he just crumbled... it was so wierd

    I was at UFC 149 in Calgary when Faber fought Barão. Around round 3 or 4 they weren’t doing much. The crowd was booing hard. Then, these two drunks guys stand up and look at each other, point to each other, walk towards each other and then start throwing haymakers. It was wild! The crowd started cheering really loudly for the two drunk fans fighting. Faber & Barão thought it was for them, so then they started fighting a little bit harder. Hahaha, what a time. A memory I will always remember.

      Howzer The man he’s tested negative for the last 5 fights he only fought dirty in Cejudo fight so tj won by tko if that’s what you were asking

      You know how it is with these casuals; if a fighter gets caught the 1st time, then they did it their whole career. Its really stupid.

    • @kannyradotv3241

      psyche cody was playing smart actually. Didn’t wanna go to the ground with cruz and didn’t wanna rush in thinking he’s hurt so he doesn’t get caught coming in.
      The dancing and taunting was just a distraction

    • @psyche3565
      @psyche3565 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Kannyrado TV I respectfully disagree, it’s not like Cruz is a submission specialist, and Cody literally took him down early on in the fight.

    That cody was in his own league but he is too hot headed now even in tj fight he dropped tj but went reckless again and lost even pedro cody should have fought smart he has a chin but use his iq more than just punching and get back with his old striking coach
