ABBA must've really made a huge impact because not only are bands redoing their songs even to this day but even as far as video games go, during the PlayStation 2 era, they made a sing along ABBA game! Lol. That may not sound that crazy but it was made for the PS2 during the 2000s! 🤣🤣🤣 A time when grand theft auto was getting popular but someone thought hey, let's release a sing along game from a 70s disco band in the mid 2000s! 🤣🤣🤣 Lol.
Although this song was covered like a million times before, this one really stands out, especially in the vocal department. And that bass solo is a pretty nice touch. 👍🏻
It's a bit sterile and over-produced but it's good. I always liked the Sinergy version which is more raw and Kimberly goes higher but that's natural when we think there's a 2 decade distance between the covers.
Another ABBA? yeah, Filipino Moms and Aunts singing too loud on 1AM on midnight (yes this is not a joke), Instead hating it on our moms and aunts, they sing while in too deep sleep, karaoke machines are too popular here... i play this on my speaker loud, my neighbors are going out and sitting right to the corner of their house and i look through my windows and see their foots jiggled while playing this song cover XD 😅

It also shows the major impact the genre of Abba has had on music in generel. Some metal bands are basically "svensk top" bands in their musical compositions. Only more aggressive in their instrumentation.

Love the production and vocals of this but maybe arrangement is too close to the original. SOS I liked more. However big expectations for the album. After all it's the first full cover album of ABBA goes metal. Great if analog synths have been used.
