The Cyclone models are really beginning to take off as collectible cars in their own rite, just like AMC, Oldsmobile, Plymouth, Pontiac, and Studebaker, especially from the muscle car era. I love these cars!
I have a 1964 comet two door ht. I'm getting ready to paint it my brother had one when I got back from Vietnam my first tour I all ways liked that body stil
Thanks, never COULD FIND a CYCLONE , & decent prices ( College, & Pharmacy school(1965-70,++), BUT **did got a nice 1966 GALAXIE 500 **XL/4 Speed/352/ Burgandy ::: in 1967, improving & building up, Car ,a lot.Great driver until 1972 -3, approx..
Very informative video, I had a 64 comet 4 dr. in 1970 and loved that stock 289 engine it was only an automatic but was a great car, love to have another one now but unfortunetly are quite expenseve (pardon my spelling ) .
I had a '65 Comet Caliente convertible, 289 2 bbl automatic. It was the first year of the delay wiper switches, the patent that Ford and others stole from the inventor.
I watched this video and only found one discrepancy. The 64- wagon was on a shorter Falcon wheel base. That's why Nicholson built the 64 wagon A/fx car.
Had a 65 Cyclone, maroon with camel interior, 289 with the 225 hp and 4 speed. It was pretty quick, did a lot of street racing.
'64 Falcon Sprint is one of my favorite Fords from this era. I knew 2 guys that had 'em, so I was along for cruisin' and big burnouts in 'em.
Just found this before going to bed, great watch.....
Thanks Mike! Tom has a special love for those old Merc Comets and has owned several. Glad you liked it! Keep watching!

Right on! Thanks for watching and sharing your memory! Hope you've subscribed and keep watching!
Actually, the "A" in GTA Fairlanes denoted an automatic trans, but they did make a Fairlane GT with a 4 speed.
As a ford guy.....thank you.
As another Ford guy - You are welcome! Thanks for watching!

Thanks for watching John and leaving your comment! We have a real soft spot for the 65 Comet Caliente! We cruised the PCH in California in one once!
