I love that she says sometimes meditation isn't the answer to everything and sometimes it can hurt more. It's very true. I'm not a big fan of meditation but the fact that she says her album is inviting you to feel whatever emotion that comes up and not just zen makes me want to buy it

Kelly is right!!! BEST SHOW EVER! Alanis is no joke, her voice is ethereal, and I’ll see her every time she comes around. She didn’t tune down, she hit every note and was non stop for 2 solid hours. No chatty breaks, just energy from start to finish. I love her!
I am four years older than her and felt a revolution begin for women, when I heard her album, Jagged Little Pill, because her lyrics were so introspective and reflected the thoughts and feelings I had growing up. I had so much admiration for her bravery and being so outspoken and I also enjoyed her singing and creativity musically.
I am so glad that KC confirmed what I already know, Jagged Little Pill is one of the greatest albums of all time. And KC's quick cover of You Oughta Know, imitating Alanis' voice, proves that she knows and loves it for real.

The first time I ever heard the name and saw Alanis was on the Nickelodeon show, "You Can't Do That on Television". I always thought she had such a cool name. Fast forward to when Jagged Little Pill came out and I was blown away that it was the same Alanis from Nickelodeon haha. She's just so amazing. I love her! I love the honesty in her songs I'm in the same MBTi group as her and I get why she drinks. Being an INFJ is a bit of battle with yourself mostly a few shots in your down time can help you detach from everything. It's nice to get a female perspective on life
