I automatically skip the weapon if it doesn't have a scabbard. It's a personal immersion thing for me. A scabbard just makes it look like you are actually taking care of your blade and a safety measure to prevent unwanted cuts.
I feel like Im going crazy, are weapon mods getting better but the actual blades look like plastic toys? Not all of these obviously just a majority stood out as these overly shiny almost Black desert online lookin weapons

Nohow. AE is messed up atm as most of SKSE-based mods (like this one) don't work on it. You will have to wait a few months till the situation (hopefully) gets better, or just mod LE instead.
Finally someone mentioned Reforging to the Massses.... It adds ton of weapons and some really nice role-playing rules aswell. Like in order to crate scimitar you need to finish saadia quest. Or you can only crate ceremonial blade with absurd amount of septims, turn Dawnbreaker into a polearm or Blade of Woe into a Stilleto.. etc
Reforging to the Masses is a cool mod and if you pair it with Katana Crafting, you can also craft katanas and other Japanese style weapons like the Dai-katana and the wakizashi. I personally always pair these two mods.
Im still waiting for someone to make a Wurmslayer weapon mod for Skyrim lol. Either that or add weapons from Kunark/Velious/Luclin, that would be a dream. Miss the olden days of Everquest
I find it really pathetic that PS4 players are not able to have Xbox and PC Skyrim Mods, because of Sony's lie about not allowing Scripts in the PS4 game
@@KingZealotTactics definitely do! All the new mods are amazing. I love the scoped bows, combat rolls, and all these newer weapons plus I’m an anime fan so the naruto mods/clothing is sweet. Did your blades swing on chains?? Mine are just in hand ones
@@MarcHartway Nope never had a weapon attached to a chain and swing outward, would be cool though. I used that one mod that expanded the armor and then another one that expanded the weapons, Immersive weapons and armor" i think it was called.

All looking okay, but i prefer 1H "real blades" - no Spikes, no frills and no "glitter". A decent lightweight but powerful Katana with realistic, high-end looking leather to have a tight grip in a well crafted scabbard, that would interest me much more. I don't need weapons where my Char even can fly with! 😅 *Muramasa Katana WK27 (Daedric Category) ; have you seen that one? It looks amazing! Greetings!
They are fun to use but they tend to break immersion for me because of how small they are and the fact you held them backwards and not by the handles :/
Nice weapons. Another guide for creativity in weapons designs for modders should be the MMO Guild Wars 2. That game have the best weapon designs I've ever seen

Yeah it's a nice mod but I hate how most one handed swords have excessively long handles. It's a plight on many nice one handed sword mods out there

Its honestly one of the best lore based mods going. Especially seeing at how gash the original stuff by Bethesda actually is.
