  • Making a scrolling parallax background was a lot of fun! Along the way, I made a couple of mistakes that I explain in detail so you won't make them. I started in Procreate inking out my character, then Photoshop to draw my background, finally I adjusted my final scene in Blender 2.93.

looks really good ! love it
you could have also animated the uv with a mapping node and scroll the texture like that, expression #frames gives you a constant counter to drive endless linear animations .

these 2 videos hopefully answer your question: Infinite loop Camera settings in Blender 2.9-(th-cam.com/video/fAQ3_Yr4rYU/w-d-xo.html) and Making 2D Side Scrolling Parallax Backgrounds | Blender 2.9 -(th-cam.com/video/AlKM1ZpyAWc/w-d-xo.html)

@@jjanneanthony Thanks for replaying. but what am asking is infinite loop side way.. like what you did in parallax sequence..

@@ThinkBigVfx Oh my fault. After I finished setting up the scene -> right click the dope sheet -> click on Interpolation Mode -> Linear. That creates the parallax effect (5:30 of the video I do this)

Nice effect. The issue with the colour difference may be in the render settings under colour management. If it is set to Filmic, change it to standard and your colours should match and behave as expected. Filmic is for HDR rendering 3D, not so much needed for 2D.

Great point! After I uploaded this video, I played around with the settings and I did change it from Filmic to standard. It came out much better!

I know your comment was posted 6 months ago, but! As someone who has been greatly struggling with what the issue was with her renders, thank you so much for this comment :'D It really helped me loads!
