To their eternal shame, they were more interested in his nose, what he was wearing, or ‘Wacko Jacko’ distraction stories... they simply didn’t want to give him any credit. You’re right, this song is a haunting masterpiece. It follows Scream & They Don’t Care About Us on the HIStory album, and before it starts you can hear cleansing rain, washing away all the anger and bile of the opening tracks. The man was a genius. Stranger in Moscow hidden symbols:
    Mj was literally hiding in Moscow during 1993 during the sexual abuse allegations.
    Jordan Chandler, the child who accused him was of Russian/Chinese/Caribbean descent.
    In the line “here abandoned in my fame, Armageddon of the brain”... that line made reference to mj’s growing depression and addiction to pain killers. No amount of celebrity could save him from that.
    The HIStory album is Michael’s most personal and raw album.

    I always felt like this video depicted his true spirit during those dark times. For someone who is so high spirited, high energy, a vibrant view on life full of color and wonderment. For him to create a very slow moving dark, cold, raining ethereal world. Just captures where his soul was. It breaks my heart man 😢 it really does. He deserved all the joys god wanted him to have on this earth. We treat our angels with such evil. I’m not surprised many of them are gone now and the world suffers in ruin without them 😢. It’s as if we brought it onto ourselves.

    The lyrics of this song are also incredible too, like the part where he says "here abandoned in my fame" it creates a beautiful conflict because you'd think you can't possibly be abandoned when you're famous cause you're the center of attention but michael was famous to the point that all everyone even people close to him cared about was "michael jackson" the brand while the real human michael jackson was not cared about at all and was sort of abandoned also there's another interesting part where he says "take my name and just let me be" again pointing that(even to this day)he's seen as a brand(name) not a human being.also the whisper in the end is a man speaking in russian,the translation is
    "Why have you come, the enemy, from the West? Confess!
    To steal the great achievements of the people?
    The great accomplishments of the workers?
    Confess. Have you tried hard to bribe the people with the riches of the West?"]

    • @Phillyhippie215
      @Phillyhippie215 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The end with the Russian interpretation I think is far deeper than we realize. The Russians hated Mike in the 80s. They saw him as a shiny gimmicky puppet for the Americans to consume while our Government were doing atrocities across the globe. So to hear this, it’s as if he’s trying to say, “I am abandoned, spare me, I have no one else to turn too. I need your security.” Or even, just referencing how America has tarnished his name. That ending can have sooo many symbolisms. He found refuge in the arms of America’s enemies. It doesn’t get any more serious than that.

      @musiclover06
      @Jack Reacts
      I'm positive that @Jack Reacts has never heard GOD, YHWH, sing, nor has anyone else, so the comparison/likeness is impossible and completely false, a.k.a., a lie.
      The fact that @Jack Reacts stated this & you agreed & repeated it, clearly displays that you both don't think about the meaning of what you hear, say or repeat as long as it feels good enough to serve your narrative.
      I'm also positive that GOD, YHWH, and/or the sound of HIS voice, cannot be, so similar to any man's, that you and Jack Reacts would mistakenly & FOOLISHLY liken any man's singing to YHWH, HIMSELF!
      Neither of you know what your saying or anything about the GOD, YHWH, that you speak of, because you wouldn't have carelessly & foolishly used HIM for the subject in your lying statement, which was completely void of any reverence for HIM, & only served your own narrative & pride to praise and uplift a man and falsely attribute the credentials of THE CREATOR to the creation. It sounded warm and fuzzy to your own feelings and looked to be so grand. "The highest compliment that you could think of, right"? You are fools.
      Michael was an extraordinarily, talented man and one of the greatest singer/song writer/dancer/philanthropist that lived. He was a great gift to us. But Michael reverenced YHWH and purposely served HIM with a humble heart & gratitude & he would have never uplifted himself or his talent & make himself equal to or like GOD! If you told him that foolishness, Michael would have been OFFENDED FOR GOD,YHWH! He also would have been forced into the uncomfortable position to hurt your 'feelings' with truth to correct you or a troubled discernment for how to tactfully reject your foolish exaggeration with a clear & concise display of nonacceptance!
      You also do not know your god's name. It is wiser for you and the reactor in the video to learn about the GOD, YHWH & what offends & disrespects HIM & HIS authority before you speak ignorantly about HIM, and believe your own foolish, self serving pride!
      Truth matters, not your temporary feelings. You may have done this with sincere intentions but you are sincerely wrong!
      A word to the wise is sufficient.

      Jack Reacts
      Michael was one of the toughest and most brave human beings ever... he couldn’t catch a break from the minute he was born almost... in every aspect of his life... health, abuse, bullying, being falsely accused and simply be the cash cow for every lazy person out there... and yet he still managed to keep going, keep smiling and keep his humanitarian work... anyone of us who had to switch life with him for an hour would probably go crazy....

    If loved this then you should listen "Will You Be There" It's one of the deepest and prettiest songs he's ever written! It was featured in "Free Willy" so the music video has clips from the film that play in the background as he performs.

    This song literally gives me chills every time I bump it. Free note is that during this time Russia was helping him get away from the United States and they were hiding in. He had love around the world he could go anywhere except the United States because they would bash him so much for whatever reason.

    Long story short😥..This song was my comfort in my darkest and sadest times in my childhood. Every time i was gonna spend the weekend with my father, he just dropped me off at my grandparents to go out partying instead..everytime! I was 8 years old and always had the history album with me and this song stood out. (I cut my father off a long time ago but the pain and ptsd remains) I am now 35 and this song still makes me cry and i feel it deep in my heart. I don't care, Michael have always been a comfort and means a lot to me🤩❤

    The people are lonely and depressed, meaning they lack connection and feeling. And when it starts raining, they are touched by the rain like it is caressing them and they start feeling again and letting out their emotions. Also the standing in the rain symbolizes crying.
