i feel like the red task system makes the game unbalanced considering the hunters are able to see red tasks
so, how about keep it, but randomize the red tasks while preventing hunters from seeing them, so it relies on their intuition to find out if one's red or not

Problems with the game: Camping is too easy. You can easily farm using an alt to check the hiders. Owner doesnt care about joining to kick the user just tells u to do it even when the others don't wanna cooperate and you really need to kick the guy as it ruins the fun. Last problem is that when you die as a hunter, you can tell the other hunter teammates where the hiders are. Its unfair.
also don’t forget about ghosting the hunters can just die and then give away all the hiders
pretty sure you can votekick the ppl who do this, the command is !Votekick or a dev called zw1ce told me that, never worked for me
How to fix your problem: If you join on a new alt account that has just been created it will create a 30 day ban. Ghosting ghosts chat messages. Again. If the other one doesn’t cooperate, the developer can add a 30 second time when you dont move and it cancels when you move.

you can easily tell apart an npc when they stop moving after a task, basically npcs stay still for 2-5 seconds, while usually normal players just instantly run off (on very rare occasions npc's can run off too but it's very rare). that's the main way to catch players since it's almost impossible to tell apart movement of an npc and a player, unless they do something not smart.

@@iznj They made a completely diffrent game with a forest map and a new gamemode... But for now only the forest map exists and not the "Classic" or "Wild west" map... The game is obviously called "dingus rewrite".

#1 civilians should actually complete the task so it throws off the hunters #2 something needs to be done with the camping you could just sit by one of the red task and if anyone tries to interact with that you act on instinct and you Insta kill them #3 perhaps the civilians could also run around and do things that would give away them being a player
@readthistobecomevisiblygay There’s matches where you get all three of them and it’s very easy to watch the street light in the vending machine if you get into a good position and you can easily run over to the billboard and check that one (I can get into a spot where I can watch street light and the vending machine very clearly and I can just run over to the billboard hacking red task if needed
Top tip : Don't fully do un-necessary tasks or necessary tasks ( if theres a hunter near you then this applies for both, make sure your in the clear first and also bump into objects a little while since the npcs do that. )
Tip: npcs go straight, npcs turn smoothly, and they go on crosswalks, and you can see hunters outlines anywhere! (This means through walls)

Here's a tip for those who want to play: don't just do the the tasks on the screen it's more easier for thenhunter to find you, it's best to do other tasks instead so they don't think your a hider I did this multiple times and they mostly think I'm an NPC, also if you can try and learn the citizens movements you'll look more like a citizen if you move like one cause some people who play this watch the characters movements and see if you'll move differently than the other citizens. Hope this helps you all cause this game has a lot of try hards 😅
tip: npcs don't go in the aisle facing the glass, so you can just shoot people who do that
This game is kinda inbalanced mainly because sherrifs can just random shot without punishment in the first time. If there is too little players, there is too little tasks to do for pretty much whole server if there are too many players there will be literaly dozens of random shooting. Additionally dead players can rat out red tasks that sherrifs can just camp and win
Its incredibly difficult for the hiders because you can tell in the video, the hunters (particularly that Ace guy) straight up just look at how you move, and if you turn using rmb mouse control or something where it isnt a snap turn they'll instashoot because only players can turn smoothly and differently than the NPCs
Big problem with the game: People can see names when they die making discord calls and telling friends the most boring shit ever. This game is awesome IF you play with friends.

Rogurt, this game is similar to West Hunt, and I think it’s better to do your tasks since the bots are also doing it as well, which kind of makes it difficult for the sheriff to guess who you are!!! Hope you play this game soon!!!

a fun feature that would imrpove the game, is maybe an action in the alley or the beach that changes the current red task incase hunters are camping it, and adding a red task on the rock.
Implementation of tasks like among us, guess who like gmod game, game mechanics especially with hiders and hunters are similar to West Hunt
If you’re wondering how the hunters are super good, it’s because the hiders curve. When the hiders go a different direction, they curve their camera so that they can go the other direction. But, no a shift lock to move. So the best way not to get caught is to change your camera and hit shift.
Actually just realized that the npcs in this game curve but very slowly.
This is the second time no joke you have released a video of a game I have played less than 2 days ago. First Alitorture now Dingus? Probably very likely but still surprising.
idea: a fake civilian role. a few people can get it each round, and their job is to be suspicious and distract the hunters so that the hiders can do red tasks, maybe take bullets for the hiders to blind the hunters. that would add an extra level of deception to the game as the hunters would have to judge if someone’s being OVERLY suspicious, and overall give the hiders a better chance of winning.
I remember playing this game a WHILE ago, hope they add more maps, it could make the game really fun!
rogurt you and the boys should play hunting season it's a horror game where you gotta gather stuff before night and survive/kill the monsters based on the game mode it's really cool me and my friends played it that would be very entertaining to watch it's a pretty small game and it's super underrated you could bring a lot of attention to it 😀😀

I think it would be cool if they added a currency and you could get cosmetics for hunter, new maps as well
For the next update, if a hunter is close to a red task for too long, they get teleported somewhere to a different task/the furthest task away from the red task
I like the content that isn’t just horror games, i find them a bit more funny.

tip:if it notificates you someone completed a red task and your near it while a hunter, go there and see whos the nearest and shoot, usually thats a player

Pro tip to be a npc in dingus: never use the sand ramps at the beach, npcs do not use it. do not do red tasks infront of a hunter, normal npcs don't do that. don't go off the crosswalk because npcs don't do that
also don't stop on crosswalks or turns, it's very unlikely for a npc to do that
Npcs stop on the crosswalks often atleast in my games so i recommend to sometimes stop on the crosswalks since it makes you look npc
