This shows why I just hate dating websites. Things will basically always go better if you meet the other person more naturally. Dating websites feels forced, and it feels like you're trying to force love to happen rather than have it happen naturally.
The problem comes when you don't have chances to meet people naturally in a romantic context in your daily life.

Like at my work we're not supposed to be anywhere near eachother, and everyones wearing masks which really fucks with my ability to feel like I connect with someone. I can't read their facial expressions and I feel like I'm muzzled or something. When I was in school, we had to leave campus immediately after class and weren't allowed to socialize. It's so shitty.
I disagree. Dating apps save you a lot of time rather than "doing things naturally". Don't know about you and don't want to do any strawman, but the majority of people take "romantic love" as something that only happens when people match each other. In reality, it's just a chemistry in a person's brain, and you actually have a 30% chance to force it to activate. Girls do it pretty naturally with men and moreover, they managed to incline men to implement it into our culture. And what is it? When you do something to a person and invest your time and resources in them, you get to value them more and thus slightly "fall in love" with them. That's how being gentlemen, open doors to a lady, provide for her, give her presents, write her first, and be the initiator etc., make men value them more and therefore "fall in love". You, as a man, can do exactly the same. You can gently incline her to buy you something as a present that "will remind you of her", buy you a dinner, hold your bag, tie your shoelaces, zip your pants (lol) etc., and when she invests in the man, does something for him, helps him, she values him a bit more and start caring, and the chemistry of "falling in love" with you may start working. It's as if you make a person do something they'd usually do if they were already "fallen in love" with you, and it actually makes them "love" you.
I put "love"/"fall in love" in quotes, because it's basically just chemistry that makes a person want to value you and want to have sex with you.
The "romantic love" concept appeared in the European culture in the XVI century. As you may know, back in that times, parents matchmaked you relying on pragmatic interests, not on some stupid chemistry in your brain. So the idea of choosing partner yourself became more and more demanded. However, since people got this right, of course, they do it stupidly - they chose based on emotions, not pragmatic interests. And when these emotions are gone, they break up, or even worse - divorce. In fact, the "romantic love" is delusional, and some people with severe depression may have the desire to "love" or "be loved", because it pumps their dopamine, but since their brain chemistry is malfunctioning, it's never enough for them, and they tend to be very demanding and annoying, and their partners leave them.
Back to the dating apps. They save you a lot of time and nerves. You can just look at profiles, see their photos, read their bios, and decide for yourself whether you want to do something with that person or not. You can choose pragmatically for yourself, not based on your feelings, but based on how interesting is that person seems to you, if her bio is interesting, how much she earns, (in case something happens to you and someone will have to care for your children); what's her education - if she's in arts school, your kids will be dumb, because kids inherit intellect from their mothers, etc.
Dating apps are still "natural". It's just instead of parents choosing for you, you can choose yourself without having to waste your time waiting for "miracle to happen".
Look how this works: he took so much effort into his profiles. Used every app, asked for female advice(in hindsight its better to ask for advice from people who actually date girls haha) , uploaded lots of high quality pictures and didnt get a date. The ending hit too hard to home, i dont know any girls so dating apps are my best bet rn. But no matter what you do its really exhausting. I tell myself that its better to be alone than being heartbroken, but then again everyone needs to have these experiences... Also i kinda feel heartbroken or atleast unloved and unnattractive due to me not being able to meet with anyone from the opposite gender. And most people who say your time will come etc has had two or three proper relationships in the past time. Im turning 25 goddammit...
Feel you brother. Exercise, built something and do not loose hope, you will find someone :)

But also i was wondering how long did you swipe to the conclusion of having no date? For myself,living in a very rural area it took me around 3 months. Additionally dont forget how often you get ghosted for dates! Felt so relatable.

I got pretty lucky with my first girlfriend too in a similar way, which left me not being familiar with the dating scene. Now, it seems like every girl i get a crush on is gay, literally the last four chicks I've met, talked to, and liked, have all been gay or gay and taken. A couple of them are still my friends, but damn.
alot of girls or people in general just seem to forget about me, like i feel they look at me and see me as this some annoying person irl while online everyone really likes me but people still end up forgetting about me only dated one girl before and she still ended up kinda just forgetting about me.
