Re your accident investigation procedures, noticed you used Terry’s name, not saying he is going to leave and work for O’ Donnavons, but always best to use a persons position rather than name so if he leaves you are not having to reissue every copy when you have to update, just a suggestion
Bruv, mark my words…your personal account is going to be big! I watch this every single week mainly because of the quality of your videos and your personality as well as those around you. I work on fishing vessels. What’s up from NZ!
Daniel. I know you have been using the area behind the weighbridge but I do want to suggest that if that is part of your yard as there appears to be a rail spur is it worth considering building an new yard so you have a clean and dirty yard with the area fully concreted to prevent cross contamination of the new prime product. This could allow you more space to accommodate the range of materials but also provide you a good space to store for example your plant hire equipment and space for your cement operation (potentially also scope to eventually relocate your townie and tyre fitter to allow a reconfiguration of your admin complex and car parking area to a truck free zone)
What a lovely nod of your head to Tony McGovern. I was so touched by your words I Googled him. Darn sad! I've been with you from your very first video and watched your business go on and on. I subscribed to your personal channel before too. It's been so neat watching your journey. I recall you saying some time ago that you were going to stop doing your Asheville Co vids! Glad you didn't. Best from me Down Under in Middle Earth! Grayson
Ref going around the yard with a magnet, you can get magnetic bars that fit on forklift tines which will cover a much bigger area more thoroughly. You can also get these for roadsweepers I believe.
Morning Daniel, All. Your eagerly awaited Personal Channel has another subscriber😊 Congrats on the arrival of the new decorative material, and I like the sprayed Ashville Cement new addition to your fleet. Yianni appears much recovered too😊 Awaiting the Wales Quarry standalone. And, Condolences to the McGovern family, friends. Stay Safe Daniel, one and all 😊❤
Good man the tyre man, my first job in the army, when I joined at 17 and a half was working with our transport NCO, for 6 months until I started my courses (radio tech). I spend 6 months changing flats and tyres, cleaning and painting our trailer fleet, terrible work but by the end of that 6 months, all my other jobs were a breeze after that (20 year veteran), well apart from operational stuff ... always remember that hard work
Danny boy! literally your editing team is doing such a great job putting the content together that it just flows like a river - the music choices and editing teams are solid but to whom ever is recording all the content especially the pieces where the trucks are getting loaded or moving in and out of sites - big ups to you man! your angles and energy recording those pieces are spot on!! - love it man!!
Ashville should consider investing in a Forklift mounted Magnetic Sweeper (have previously had an Eclipse one on a site). Goes on the forklift/telehandler/forks on a digger. Great for yards where the risk of nails etc quite high and would be a saving if it saves you just one or two tyres...
I'm ashamed to admit i stopped watching these weekly videos at epsiode 126 and I spent since Tuesday binge watching trying to catch up 😂 finally i made it.
100% Daniel's Challenge should be to go and work for Mr O’ Donnavons for a Week!!! I will post when the site is live......but had to get it down in writing.
Well done on the Accident report ,makes it sound professional ,in Africa there's no such,if an accident occurs & ask the driver " What happened" ,he simply answers "I don't know" ,Thanks on that one,I definitely learn a lot from this channel, shout out to Tezza & Benji The Tyre man(T-man) ,👊from all the way in Zimbabwe
I think im quite a bit older than you, however I find you such an inspiration and have a lot to learn from you. Well done fella. Keep striving for higher heights, you definitely are smashing it.
We know you are always on site 24/7 getting involved every day!Your challenge is don’t come work for 1week no emails, not speaking to Terry no one!!! Let Terry film the weekly😊
Challenge: (A rather tame 1 imo) For 1 week have your team rent you a very small car to carry out your daily activities in. Also, in the mean time Terry gets your defender😊
You should come to western australia and see some of behemoth iron ore mines. Trains 2.3kms long with 40,000 tonnes of iron ore in them. Reclaimers that can dig at 11.5k tph 😄. Wagons that go through car dumpers and turn upto 3 wagons upside down at a time to unload them its impressive but its always bloody boiling here.
It's Sunday (afternoon) I'm not in the yard (I'm in Thailand). You'd like it here Daniel, it's bloody hot, but I'm not complaining because I dislike the cold weather too!
Hey Daniel just a thought, at my job we have magnets on all yard vehicles that collect nails, rebar, and screws. Hangs between the tires a couple inches off the ground. Might be worth finding some strong magnetized bars that could help with tire puncture problem, atleast in the yard.
With the accident reporting document, you could add a 3rd drop down on the excel such as "Answer Here" so there is no confusion of which cells you have filled out and which haven't been edited yet
Hey Daniel, they sell 60cm magnets with wheels for the exact same use as your tire fitter's stick but larger and stronger. It would make it easier and faster to go around with it in the yard and they're pretty cheap!
Just a suggestion but after your piece to camera about over flow of decorative stone then you stood in front of the empty skips would it not be possible to put overspill into the skips keeping it clean
So excited for the new channel. I’ve enjoyed the vids thus far so an extra channel = more fun. Also I suggest the basic go to 1 chip challenge to whomever loses. Cheers another great vid.
Thanks Daniel for making these videos, although it will be good if you can take some time to explain how you manage to do so many different things and still keep your energy levels high, because most people would struggle to deal with the amount of things you are doing on a daily basis. All the best
Bro i just seen that your company has gone into Liquidation.... I truly hope this aint so the hardwork and dedication i have seen you put into this Business i hope that you make it work. People that work as hard as you do deserve to win! Im Rooting for You Daniel.... 10000000000%

Daniel. You missed some crucially important notes on your accident reporting policy 1, do not openly accept responsibility at the scene 2, do not say sorry 3, do not become frustrated or angry Three points that in the eyes of an insurer make you automatically liable and at fault

I've subscribed to your personal channel 👍. And a nice little touch to the late Mr mcgovern 😢. Very local to myself...Nice to see ashville is going from strength to strength 👏👏👏
Yet another great episode from Ashville and terry doing some work good to see more trains please keep up the good work cant wait to next sunday more trains lol
Excited about the new channel lads! My challenge for whoever loses: Sriracha challenge - 3 big spoonful's of the sauce, see if you can survive. If its too easy then ramp up the CHILLI!

Danial, Do you know that rubber will cut easier when wet, therefore thats why tyres are more prone to damage, try knocking a nail in a dry tyre and then do the same with pouring water on the same tyre and see the difference,
Great content as usual very good that you use rail link so much better for planet many less lorries on the road less impact on local communities well done 👏 you know your serious

I’m not sure if I’m wrong but the bays for the decorative material was the lead up ramp ever done? Would hate to see the shovel run into the lip of the concrete instead of material.

Amazing! We are using it for years and it improved so much according to our needs
Your tyre fitter is a diamond, who knew he would be a top character
here, here he's a marvel.
I agree, I don't think I appreciated what hard work it was being a truck tyre fitter. He's a good fella!
He is a great guy 👍👍
You should mail a go-pro out to a quarry and get a time lapse of the train coming to the yard
mmmmmm i like how you think
Great idea!
The battery would die before arrival 😢

Looking forward to your new personal channel, subscribed already.
Suggestion: maybe get a giant magnet like in the scrap yards to go around the whole yard to search for loose metal
Your tyre man is a top man ,great in front of camera also ,love it all Daniel sending love from Barbados 🌴🌴😎
We use have a vehicle with a magnetic bar suspended at the rear of it. It was the full width of the vehicle and was beneficial to our company
Was just thinking the same 🤯
