I cannot even fathom how deeply Yo-Yo must feel the music to be able to interpret it and give us such a treasure. Each time I discover his video, I feel as if I've just been presented with a gem. I have a ticket to see him perform this winter. I just don't know how I'm going to be able to keep from getting choked up by the beauty of this man.

Yo-yo Ma is not perfect and he would not want us to believe him so. However, as a living embodiment of an angel on Earth I believe my ' ' Tianshi' could unite us all. This man brings peace to us all like no other and I believe he hears that which the rest of us do not. God blessed us with you, Mr Yo- Yo Ma. ❤

Schubert’s Ave Maria is my absolute favorite. Listening to Yo-Yo Ma play it on the cello (my favorite stringed instrument) is breathtaking and incredibly beautiful. Many years ago as a young child I had the opportunity to see and hear him play at the Quebec City Le Grand Theatre. I was so moved with the beauty of his playing. When it was all over I had to go and tell him Thank you so much for sharing your music with us. I shyly asked him for his autograph and he did. It was such a treasure moment. Will never forget it.
I absolutely love this piece and the way Yo Yo Ma plays, there is so much passion and love that being a cellist myself, he continues to inspire me to get better of a cello player. 🤗❤️

First heard him over 40 years ago, he's beyond gifted, hard to even put words to it. Back then I was certainly not into this kind of ethereal music and my father said, you are going. Been amazed with everything he does ever since. True treasue.
