You used to be able to play with 6 people in Madden, it also used to be "fun" and "good".
EA hasn't seemed to want their games to be either for a long time now.
Some things managed to make it through the grinders without losing too much, but that is definitely not the norm.
6 player madden sounds like a myth
EA doesn't make games, they just eat other companies and cobble together what they've done into a rubbish version of what it was meant to be.
Late but you literally can play 3v3 madden... even the normal football with 3 players controlling all 11 on the field

FIFA is so fucking big because they add a TON of statistics and "simulations" per available player (as in the athletes in the game), and also synergies and whatnot, and they also claim it's for graphics but they still have a ton of graphic glitches nonetheless XD

Two points
1) Absolutely loved the video and the fact that it's football (soccer) makes the video 10x better
2) As an avid and long term FIFA player, I enjoyed the banter about the game being high in memory space because of the pack animations. Honestly though, a Smii7y FIFA vid would go hard.
