Very dramatic and i love how the prince hit his shield with his saber making his presence felt.
The princess did well in charming her way near the fierce prince, her regent husband.

    Very regal ensamble.
Of all SEA ethnic dances, this one takes the closing part where nobilities take the final round and spectacle.
Why not this dance is based in Ramayana the Hindu epic.

Singkil ay meaning is love... Hardship... Sad... Struggle... DISIPLINE.....
Why the dancer not wearing shoes because its shows humble.... Even the color or the custome has meaning... Even the bamboo has meaning....the singkil dance has many meaning...... The dancer is not smiling because the singkil is dramatic

Parang nagmamadali sila sumayaw... Ang singkil kasi dramatic ang sayaw... Kahit sa entrance ng princess ay nagmamadali siya sumayaw.... Yung background music ay nagmamadali... Meron yan music na dahan dahan at biglang bibilis yung music.....
