It's derived from the quote "A dancer dies twice - once when they stop dancing, and this first death is the more painful” and it comes from the iconic American dancer Martha Graham, named Dancer of the Century, who fell into depression when she retired. This song is the story of an artist who fears the end of their career, when their music and passion no longer moves them or their audience. 😢 My favorite part of the video is 11:12.
