The old lock was broken inside and would vibrate to lock position, almost fully lock but not far enough to unlock with key. My customer had lock engage while steering fully turned. Luckly he was moving bike in his garage and not riding at tthe time. This was the second lock failure and he wanted the problem gone. Thanks for watching and commenting. Hope you subscribed.

Is the torque 35 ft pound on steering handle nuts and on triple tree grips? Also whats allen key number or size for lock/plug tightening?
That information is in the factory service manual. Get one for your bike.

I dropped my bike today due to this while riding thank to god small amount of damage should be easy fix
