I'm amazed at the tenacity of those pioneers. Imagine even finding enough money to buy a wagon and and all the provisions and the animals needed. Crazy
I live in the middle of Nebraska, but my Dad was born in Bridgeport & grew up there. I still have several generations in the Bridgeport cemetery & 7 generations mostly in Scottsbluff. I loved seeing your footage/ it has been years since I actually did the tourist spots. 💜
Thank you Thank you for sharing your wonderful adventures I am from South Africa I enjoy every second of all your wonderful adventures I might not comment on every video but I watch all your wonderful videos thank you again very interesting ❤
When I went to school in Omaha starting in 1958, until the 12th. grade we were taught all of Nebraska history. I only wish I could be your tour guide. Thanks for the ride along, if you really want to see beauty , visit HOT SPRINGS ,SD.
Enjoying your journey. We headed West in 2021 and one of our stops was at Chimney Rock. We camped at Settler’s Trading Post /Pioneer Crossing Campground. Really nice owners. Enjoyed beautiful sunrises and sunsets of Chimney Rock.
Western Nebraska has some amazing landmarks and scenes. My mom lives in Grant, Nebraska but we might come and see Chimney Rock. I think to be honest, Western Nebraska is a lot prettier than the Eastern Part.
Travel hwy 2 across the state one way... then hwy136! There was a reason the Platte River Road was traveled by pioneers...flat. Oh dear lord! I just gave away a NE secret! 😮
TOADSTOOL GEOLOGIC STATE PARK in northwestern Nebraska is my favorite park in Nebraska for scenery... If you get a chance sometime its totally worth it... love the channel!

You’re absolutely right Abby, Independence is the true Gateway to the west. Thats why I as President would move that arch to Independence Square.
