When I do this, I am still getting 7:30:00 AM in the formula bar. This AM is getting transfered to my contract made in word. In the Excel spread shett it shows as 7:30 so how do I get it to not put AM in the formula bar?
my company has 2 shifts, day and night. day shift starts from 06:00am to 18:00pm and night shift starts from 18:00pm to 06:00am. i have a column in excel which has time . but how can I categorize the shifts based on the information given and time in excel
Why do I still see the AM or PM in the formula bar? I tried custom h:mm as the format but it still shows AM or PM in the formula which when I import into Word for contracts it will print the AM. I have a separate cell for AM PM and this formula does not know if it day or night. If I use a Time(3,0,0) in the formula it will display but I want to be able to just enter a number.
I was trying to figure this out for 2 hours, your tutorial helped me solve it in 2 seconds lol. Thank you!

When I use h:mm it displays as 24 hour time though. 🤷♀
