I know right. Saints Row 4 is where the series has died. It has ran its own course as I like the superpowers but alas it wasn't enough to save it and the plot was weak.
Here's a dishonorable mention: Splatterhouse 2010 - a failed reboot/loose remake of the 1988 arcade cult classic that was changed into a 3D hack & slash beat-em up in which a college student, Rick Talyor wears the Terror Mask (voiced by Jim Cummings) to save his girlfriend, Jennifer from a mad doctor whose trying to sacrifice her. Unlike the original arcade game, you barely travel in the mansion (like only the 1st and last level is set at the mansion), and instead, you go into random locations and different time periods. While you're slashing demons and the undead, you also collect Rule 34 nude pictures of Jennifer scattered across, which is something that will not fly today due to current politics in today's media. Upon release, the game was received mixed to negative reviews because of its loose controls, several bugs, long loading screens, obnoxious soundtrack, wasted talent of Jim Cummings, and the game was a commercial flop in sales. The sequel was originally planned, but due to the game's poor sales, it was ultimately canceled, and I highly doubt Bandai Namco has any interest in resurrecting this cult franchise. 👻🔪

Bogging the game down with unnecessary gimmicks. thankfully games like metroid dread and fire emblem fates have removed a lot of that worry but for the longest time Zero left me really skeptical of Nintendo bringing back one of their dormant IPS
Star Fox Zero is one of my best reason why I just skipped the Wii U and brought a PS4 and a Nintendo Switch in Christmas 2019 the Wii U is basically Nintendo's equivalent of the Sega Saturn.
I hope they one day bring back Starfox Adventures and Assault. I even had a little fun with Command. But I hope they get rid of the time limit. Also I don't care as a fan of the franchise on Dreamcast I still want to play Shenmue III, And Tony Hawk I think has its cult following.
There already is a Shenmue III
@@PerpleX_Plays I know. That’s what I meant.
@@frz3rbRnotaku1 oh, sorry
@@PerpleX_Plays no problem. You’re fine.
Heeey I liked newest Thief and that Duke Nukem game wasn't that bad!
Sega Take Note of Final Fight: The 3D Streets of Rage installment in development won't work, Streets of Rage 4 was a masterpiece and worked even with the hand drawn style.
Hmm off the top of my head, I wanted successful returns of Shinobi, Killer Instinct, Jet Set/Grind Radio, and Spyhunter
Sega is bringing back Shinobi and jsgr :) among other franchises
@@thetikijam Golden Axe too. Hope it'll retconned Beast Rider I want Axe Battler to come back and have WWE superstar Drew McIntyre to voice him as he should be perfect for the role.
Racing with Resident Evil,Left 4 dead,Last of Us,Dying Light is really hard thing.
Dead Space really sucked.
You will be surprised what fans want for Star Fox, as they want to see Star Fox Zero ported to Switch.
I feel like Twisted Metal should be on this list.
True. But with the TV series getting a second season, something tells me that a new game may be on horizon.
@jeremyriley1238 I wouldn't be so sure cause the Firesprite development team was supposed to make a new Twisted Metal game, but it got canceled by Playstation.
this
I was really hoping for a remake of Dead Space2.
7. But I liked Nuts & Bolts.
6. The Dead Space Remake was a good game. And it was only released last year. It's too soon to call it out.
3. Hey, Microsoft. LOOK AT ME! You OWN Activision-Blizzard! Uncancel the Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 + 4 bundle and release it, you will make more money than a YEAR of Xbox Live revenue!
"beware oblivion is at hand" iykyk
Starfox will always be dead because the original was a visual marvel at the time, which is something you likely won't see in a Nintendo game ever again.
Would love to see Half Life and Bioshock (not Infinite) try to make a comeback.
I think you can leave out “series” for every single one.
Mario & Luigi series :(
What about Mario & Luigi: Brothership?
@@darla620 that was before rhe announcement
@@renesav Ah, I see. But I'm still happy to see that the franchise survived anyway!
@@darla620 oh yes!!!!
Call me crazy but Duke Nukkem in 2025 or 2026 with good graphics, a basic story and fully uncensored would be a massive hit.
Would be cool, but chances are whoever makes it would end up butchering it in order to appease the woke culture who doesn't play this sort of games to begin with, but love to raise hell if something easily offends them.
At least final fight people have shown up in few street fighter games
I will die on that Duke nukem Forever is awesome hill
It was sad 4 me when a new Deus Ex game was cancelled 😢😢
Don’t you ever talk about Shenmue. It hurts my sole 😢
Is that from you kicking your tv?
Tony Hawk Underground remake please
Feel like shenmue 3 had the potential to be good but it was kinda disappointing
U know, I'd liked the "Thief" reboot.
Nuts n Bolts screwed us! Pun both intended and not intended
It wasn't the Banjo-Threeie as we hope.
If Microsoft could do the right thing by reviving it the right way by remaking the first and the second
Battletoads should be on this list
You mean the reboot that ripped off the style of Rise of the TMNT, and also downgraded The Dark Queen?
@@KenMasters. oh hey! It’s you!
How you doing?
Yup, that’s it
Rise Of The Battletoads and The Dark Queen created by Anita Sarkeesian
Have you seen my video on that yet?
That I should agree on. Microsoft ruined the Battletoads by giving them the Rise of The TMNT animation makeover and desexualized The Dark Queen by turning her into a joke.
@@TheShadowsega75ZX EXACTLY
I have a video bashing on that game, interested?
@@AlexIn_ThaCosmos89 Sure why not? Link?
The new thief game was really good!No idea why it failed.Invert what the video says and that's for me.
You can watch Yahtzees review of the game, it explains its flaws quite well.
Take it with a grain of salt though
I feel like dead space 2 remake could still happen and a dead space 4
Saints row remake it didn’t feel like the old ones
it was a pretty good game
I actually enjoyed the turok reboot.
I want more dead space games
I'm sure they'll think of something eventually
Thief did make a comeback, it was just called Dishonored.
Not exactly. Thief simulator could be the comeback, not dishonoured.
You forgot Soul Calibur VI.
DOA too
The Battlefront series. The remakes are horrible and the updated “special edition” re-originals were a joke
Recently Alone in the Dark and Outcast. 😢
Except Alone in the Dark didn’t fail just Underperformed in sales
