This is only a short summary of the entire show episode. This is actually a show in Korea, but they upload short clips/summaries for foreigners. In the show they explain that the dog and it’s mother god stolen and beat by a stranger. While that was happening, the lady was taking care of her very sick husband so she couldn’t spend as much time with the two dogs as she usually would. If I remember correctly, I believe the husband died because of the sickness. The dog found its way back like this, and because the lady was dealing with loss, she had trouble knowing why until she came to this conclusion. By how her living style is, I believe she’s one of many elderly citizens who lives in a traditional home so she doesn’t have much money (as in she’s not dirt poor, but she can’t risk much like most can). I hope an inquiry from a korean helps you all!

I see a lot of people saying this dog was 'beaten by the owner' and can see that they didn't really pay attention...
This video even explained that the dog witnessed it's mother being killed by another human (more then likely it witnessed it's mother being grabbed by and killed around the head, hence why when you raise your hand he reacts like so) and during this time the Husband had become sick and soon died, dealing with her own grief it wasn't until sometime later that she realized what was wrong with the dog.
Please actually pay attention instead of looking to send hate and abuse to literally a poor little old lady.

This dog was beaten as well. Dogs don't flinch like that because of something they saw. Apparently the dog was lost along with its mother and were picked up and abused. Sometime later the dog found its way back.

@Adelaide Duarte that's the nicest thing anyone has said to me for a long time. Thank you for your kind words. I'm sorry we even have to talk about this though, as it should never be happening in the first place. I get injuries occur as accidents happen but for someone to deliberately harm an animal they are abhorrent, vile people. It hurts me to see any animal suffer and it makes me very angry. I figure I'll probably end up getting in a lot of trouble one day for teaching such people a lesson they'll never forget, but that doesn't bother me, I just wish things would change so that things like this don't happen again. I definitely do not tolerate abuse. I understand we don't all have it in us to stand up to such people but even knowing that I am not alone in my thinking is support enough. We need more people like you in the world who aren't afraid to speak up against such cruelty. Too many live in fear of potential repercussions and so turn a blind eye. In my view we only have this one life (in this body at any rate) and if I can save even one or two but have to sacrifice my own then it's a good trade off. It's all too easy for people to ignore that which doesn't directly impact their lives, I don't think you fit that description though, you clearly know that animals deserve so much better treatment, love and care. Life can be incredibly tough for them and they don't get long on this planet with us as it is any way. Bless you and thank you for being such a good person, you have a big heart Adelaide, don't let anyone ever make you think otherwise or try to destroy your sense of morality because you've got it right.
Man some people just love being pessimistic. The dog was stolen both the dog and its mom were attacked by the stranger, the mom died the dog survived, the dog managed to find its way back home. Since the lady was dealing with grief she was too depressed to take care of the dog, 4 years later the woman realised her mistakes a vet came over and helped with the situation. There end of story stop trying to make up a story of the woman being evil
She neglected the dog. That is evil. She may have been depressed but that is no excuse to neglect. Find a better carer for the dog.

As much as I love dogs, her husband is literally dying?? It’s not that she doesn’t have a good career, it’s she has literally no choice but to stop looking for the dogs

They mention they’ve had her for 13 years, which means they were responsible for what happened. When they showed the clip of a man beating the mom dog...she went silent and then said her husband was very sick...I took it as he wasn’t well and took his anger out and killed the mom dog.

Dogs are such resilient creatures. Forgiving and understanding, she accepts the touch after proof of intentions. I wish people were this strong mentally.
A traumatic experience for a dog to react in such a way that the dog backs away and convulses. I get choked up about seeing animals reacting in such a way.

Sounds like someone beat the dog to death which is a common method of killing dogs for food as Koreans believe it adds flavor to the meat.

@@redacted8008 rewrite: when they found the dog they would have also seen the mom's body near by most likely, it's happening a lot where people beat animals just for the sake of it, it's happened in England quite a bit recently but it's stopped again now at least I think, it's sad but their are people genuinely like that, and if the body was moved they would have still found the puppy alone and the scuff marks on the ground from the mother dog moving about trying to get away and possibly law prints and foot prints if the mug was damp
English speaking people, please just watch this with your subtitles switched on so you can listen to the story, rather than not understand anything that they are saying and make accusations that the woman is abusing the dog and the whole vetenary and film crew are in on it, because that is just ridiculous.
Yeah, the woman was in no way doing those horrible things to the dog, she had to take care of her poot sick husband at the same time and didnt know where the poor dog and dog mom went. I bet she was worried.. i feel really bad for both of them and i hope the dog and the lady are able to have a happy life in the future

I feel bad for both the dog and the lady. The dog has PTSD because of a trauma she had a long time ago. The lady can't stop blaming her self and feels like its all her fault.

I love how people are making assumptions about the situation and others reply as if the assumptions are truth. It's understandable if people are skeptical of the story, but don't go calling someone a demon without actually knowing what happened. On another note, I'm hoping that the dog's coat is like that due to the trauma and therefore had trouble interacting with people for grooming. Hopefully after this video, the dog is living better.

There is another comment by someone called _ hybrids _ that explains that this is just an edited down version from a show in Korea. The two dogs were kidnapped by a stranger while she was taking care of her sick husband. Later he died of his illness so she was filled with grief and didn't know what happened.

Oh my! I'm still battling with my tears. What a bitter sweet story. Am very happy that the pup recovered and accepted love from his human mother. I feel for the lady owner of the dog too. It just makes one realize that these beautiful creatures can also suffer PTSD after a terrible experience such as this precious doggy endured. It's a lesson to us all. So I ask everyone , please in God's name, give these precious gifts from God a good life filled with lots of love. I thank everyone who went out of their way to help both the doggy and his human mommy. God bless you all.
Seeing her flinch like that just breaks my heart! The fact I had an American Eskimo for 14 years who looked sooo much like her, makes it that much harder to watch. His name was Casper, and he meant the world to me. I have tears in my eyes writing this as we speak. It's been 5 years and I miss him more than anything. Seeing this poor pup suffer like that, it just breaks me. To see her finally wag her tail, and experience love again, is the best thing I've seen in a long time. Hopefully her hurt is finally over and she can get back to being adored again!
This is heartbreaking. I felt so bad for the women and the poor dog😢 Thank goodness for my favorite trainer ever!! He was so compassionate to the owner and the big smile at the end knowing things will be ok. I’m glad everything will work out for them❤️

It makes me very angry, I wish humans weren't such a protected species, I see someone doing stuff like that I want to make sure they can never harm any animal ever again... but alas that would be a criminal act and I would be persecuted for protecting innocent life. I'd most likely rush and punch them if they do that right in front of me. Done that before and was never really afraid of being taken by the authorities anyway. In my case before, the police listened to me and i recorded the dog limping after i took a teeth or two out of him. The guy didn't pursue anything after careful consideration.

In the show they said the husband was “sick” I’m assuming her ex brutally killed the dog in front of the baby. Probably struck that dog too

Я так поняла,что на ее глазах жестоко убивали ее маму- собачку,и развилось постстрессовое расстройство оно есть и у слонят, на глазах которых браконьеры убивали их матерей,и они сложно выходят из этого отказываются от еды и часто умирают, пострессовые расстройства были и у людей после захватов террористами ( можно субтитры на русском включить- надать в верхнем правом угу три точки,затем слово субтитры,затем язык,- русский

Fear is greatest weapon of human kind that why we train even young one's to fear and hate animal. Instead teaching compassion and humanity that all we need. I hope this dog learn to love again and trust

Or comb daily is such a proven way of making connection and bond with your dog that is seen in the dogs eyes and owners pride...even if your dog is a mess to begin with...over time you both will welcome the love established by simple regular grooming...it is a blessing of itself.I 💝

Not a seizure. A reaction to having been severely hurt by human hands. He’s bracing himself for a painful strike. That woman hurt that dog.
This make me cry of how people can be so cruel. I am very heart broken this had to happen and now the offspring have trauma constantly reminded of how the mother had died. People that does these things to animals that can’t defend themselves will get their karma one day.
Oh so sad and yet so beautiful. Darong knows she can trust again and accept love.
I really appreciate the owner. She are waiting for 4 years with patient. She never give up. She knows what she needs to do for her lovely dog. On the other hand, psychotherapist acts his professional. He helps the dog and the woman to rebuild the relationship.
The woman beat that dog or her husband did. Probably killed the other dog too

@Shinnie she’s had the dog it’s whole life. She said 13 years so I assume. I work in an animal rehabilitation center. This dog has been severely beaten and neglected. Look at how matted it’s coat is. If previous owners from 13 yrs ago abused it, it wouldnt still be acting this way. This lady is the abuser.
Beanie Lou That’s not all that accurate, sometimes trauma lasts a long time, I know It did with my dog. We had her for 10 years and she always had issues. Stop assuming shit.
