U can't do anything about that as well Bcz every PG owner was like that only. Then they won't give security back which is equal to monthly rent almost minimum 8k to max 15-20k. from students. The only solution was either to cut security deposit from last month rent no matter what they u have to stick to that, that the only solution to minimize the loss or simply keep on record of everything do every payment online and in end call police, they are really helpful in such conditions for students.
lakshay , when it comes to not allowing someone to view your flat while the person is still living in it , is different when you're a bachelor , and when you have a wife and kids. we too were in a similar situation , and we felt so uncomfortable when 3 guys came at our doorstep and forced us to let them see the rooms , despite informing both , the landlord nd the broker that we'd leave 1 week later.
