1.Why did you go down 3inches for the slope? 2. For the sleeve cap you went down by 5 inches, is it the normal measurement for a vintage shirt? Or it's ur choice?
I'm also confuse about the shoulder measurement. Because whenever I finish sewing a shirt, I will get that puff coming out at the back of my shirt i.e it won't lap well on my body. For the shirt shoulder measurement, is it the same way you measure for a crop top or a dress? Or I will further extend my my tap Thank you.
She went down by 3 inches as the shoulder slope. On crop tops or dress we usually go down by 1 inches then connect to the neck because our shoulder is not straight but has little slope. She went down by 5 inches on the sleeve. We usually call it cap height.
I’m sorry but I ignored the comments and went ahead with your tutorial only to realize that the picture on the tutorial was different from what you taught !!! You made a normal shirt with a vintage material and portrayed a vintage shirt with a different collar
I’m sorry about that, I would have to change the thumbnail to something similar to what was made. But if you wish to learn how to sew the notched collar, pls see this video th-cam.com/video/UK2_PwMHQxY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=VRJi_KO8lcYKyqWv

U didn’t say how many inches u used to come down from that shoulder slope. I’m confused. This is my first attempt on a vintage shirt, I don’t want to make mistake
Your teachings are simple, but you don’t explain deeply, like for example the shoulder measurement, i don’t understand when you say divided by 2 all the time , if the shoulder is 17, say is 17, not divided by two, please try and explain better, thank you.
I watched several other videos but now feel comfortable enough to make a pattern after watching your video.
This is the simplest tutorial ive watched on vintage shirts. You're an amazing teacher.

Clearly done. Kudos

1.Why did you go down 3inches for the slope?
2. For the sleeve cap you went down by 5 inches, is it the normal measurement for a vintage shirt? Or it's ur choice?
It’s the standard normal measurement for cutting those part
I'm also confuse about the shoulder measurement.
Because whenever I finish sewing a shirt, I will get that puff coming out at the back of my shirt i.e it won't lap well on my body.

That's 1.5 yard for short sleeve, 2yards for long sleeve
Then the chest round is bust measurement right divided by 2?? That part I don’t understand
That arm cuv was supposed to have a measurement
Am watching for the first time how do I cut the collar3
is the chest line bust line?
Yea
Madam thank you for this video, but i think you are quite fast, pls slow down a little. thank you. more grace sister 😊
Sorry, Errm, did you trim out the neck of the back off camera cause it had a pointy edge before you sew in the yoke.
Yes probably
I totally understand but some people will have to watch it several times. the first piece you cut for the back is called a yoke
Well done
nice video
Won't the back be longer than the front
so smooth

Please the shirt botton did you it by 1 inch
When sowing ?
Yes one inch will be ok
I see u're trying to make the video short and that's good. Wish u had used a plane fabric for us to see better. Weldon
You didn't show clearly how u flipped the shoulder pieces. I got me really confused. Could u pls explain better. Tnx
Which one is chest round please,is it same as burst
Yes
I think dividing your normal burst round into two gives your chest round
Ma pls how many inches did you use from the shoulder to waist measurement
The picture is different from what you cut 😢😢😢😢
Exactly and I’m disappointed for wasting my time !!!
Ma I don't understand can you explain the inches
Well understood
How many yards?
Wonderful tutorial but the colour of the fabric is making it difficult to follow through.
Wetin be this 😂
Please may I ask, why is it called a vintage shirt?
Thank you
U didn’t say how many inches u used to come down from that shoulder slope. I’m confused. This is my first attempt on a vintage shirt, I don’t want to make mistake
I said it, I used 3 inches
Please kindly use a clearer tape measure incase we don't hear what u saying
Gud jub

Nice video
You made a regular collar, not a notched collar as seen in the picture
I dont really understand..ur too fast
Pls reduce the playback speed on TH-cam settings
😂@@stitchesbytale
How many yards did you use ma
2 yards maximum
But I used 1 and half
It's difficult to understand this video without the specific measurements. It's just like a soundless video.
Is it unisex?
Yes
But you are showing us a different this from the pattern

Noted sir
What’s the collar measurement on this shirt please?
I thought the shoulder is always divided by 4 not 2
It’s by 2 not 4
Guys for real
Fashion is up kbx
I don’t understand the cutting because of the inches you are adding with explaining why
I use dis ur method d neck is too wide 😢 😢
Same the neck is extremely wide!!! So I’m guessing it’s a vintage neck cuz it’s not necking
Trim the shoulder down to the neck about 1” and it would be better 👍
❤
Ur teaching is good but you are fast ma
The way you explained the sleeve is very very confusing
I understand now.. sorry. Great video
U are fast
I don't understand it
U re too fast and ur explaination Is not clear pls slow down
Well you’re goo😮but this is not a vintage shirt
This is totally not beginners friendly 😢
Ur teaching is not well understood, take time and explain it well with how many inches u took for all
Ok ma
