Nice crawlers but the electronic’s on them is insane. Our county road crew dropped one through the ice last winter, deep enough to cover the floor boards,,absolutely fried the engine and transmission controllers. 700,000 $ damage. The old ones you would of pulled it out changed fluids and been going the next day. It was 14 months old and they almost wrote it off.
Was this a brand new model Komatsu d85? Holy smokes. $700k? What was it priced for as a new dozer? I think I'll stick with my 1980's and 1990's Cat dozers. Ouch!

I think all new modern day dozers would be the same, they are full of electronics.
