I'm a public school teacher in California, and my school is so fortunate to have a large Sikh community. I've been teaching in this neighborhood for 20 years, and have to say that in general, our Sikh students are exceptionally kind, respectful, self-confident, compassionate, honest, and honorable. I'm so very impressed with our Sikh students and their families. On another note, when I traveled in India during the 80's, as a single woman, I had some sketchy interactions with some folks, but never with a Sikh person. So, after while, when I needed a taxi in India, I'd make sure I got a Sikh driver. And now, 30 years later, as a public school teacher in the US, I have the distict priviledge of teaching in school with a very high Sikh community.

Then he realised that the way he was being brought up was unfair and against his heart so he started Sikhism, that's when conversions happened as he spoke openly about his feelings and people agreed with him. If Hindu's and americans want to become Sikh so be it, maybe they won't have the connections that we do and the ability to say I'm traditionally a Sikh Punjabi but they can choose what they want in life, Sikhism is open to anyone our religion doesn't discriminate (which is what I love about being sikh) yes white people might go a lil overboard with it so that they feel accepted in the religion which might give the idea of copying but no, they aren't and it's nice that more people are understanding us. I was born in sikh family... but I have basically been athiest all my life, and was always against religions... but sikhism is just pure and what is taught in our religion is just pure... I was always told by my parents and family that in the end u will believe in God... Sikh is the best religion with astounding history of humanity, courage and spirituality combined all togather. Sikh gurus were highest degree of spiritual satguru or Masters. No comparison with any other saint in their time and even before that. The most amazing love that God bestow on people of that time in form of Human form. This is the only organisation with perfect teaching in Indian history.
Sikhism is not hope of humanity perhaps for Sikhs, Indus valley of India gave blood to rise of Sikhism cause every other nation around our border demanded that their faith is hope of the humanity in most cases involuntary. We are a peaceful nation. Even before all of gurus their were Sikh brothers, we became stronger/united when all types of attacks came to us to treat us like cowards but they did not realize the courage of a Lion instilled in us. Sikhs ares not independent they are Honorable to defend our nation as our tradition, culture of our valley was being taken with our lives and no free will.

Beleive me, being an indian Hindu, i would luv to say Sikhs are one of d most kind hearted n holy ppl in d world. I have never seen any sikh begging on the streets. Infact the way they donates towards d society is tremendous. I remember my father used to say to me n my sister tht, if by some circumstances u r stuck alone on d street at night.. 4. Geeta, Hindu religious book was not written by Krishna the Hindu God, Ramayana was not written by Rama the Hindu God, Shiv puran and Vishnu puran are not written by Shiva and Vishnu the Hindu Gods.
5. Pali and Mahayana Sutras, Buddhist religious books were not written by Gautam Buddha the Buddhist prophet.
6. Agamas Sutras, Jainist religious books was not written by Mahavir Jain, the Jainist prophet.
These scriptures are claimed to be direct words of god in the all respective religions.
Why these religious books were written after the death of the prophets of respective religions by someone else?
Why other God or prophets didn’t wrote themselves?
Why didn’t they thought of it’s as a vital process of preserving their own uncorrupted real teachings?

There is ONE basic astonishing difference found from the study of ALL religions.
All Prophets and Gods, other than Sikh Gurus didn’t give any importance to wrote their religious scripture books themselves.
Sikh Scripture, Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji was written and compiled by Sikh Guru's themselves. and its ONLY scripture in the world that was written and compiled and checked by the prophets/Gods themselves.
Sikh Gurus in fact created a whole NEW LANGUAGE called Gurmukhi and even CREATED ALPHABETS from scratch to put SGGS divine teaching in writing themselves.
No other religious Book whether its
1. Torah, Jewish religious book was not written by Moses the Jewish prophet.
2. Bible, Christian religious book was not written by Jesus the Christian prophet.
3. Quran, Muslim religious book was not written by Muhammad the Muslim prophet.
4. Geeta, Hindu religious book was not written by Krishna the Hindu God, Ramayana was not written by Rama the Hindu God, Shiv puran and Vishnu puran are not written by Shiva and Vishnu the Hindu Gods.
5. Pali and Mahayana Sutras, Buddhist religious books were not written by Gautam Buddha the Buddhist prophet.
6. Agamas Sutras, Jainist religious books was not written by Mahavir Jain, the Jainist prophet.
These scriptures are claimed to be direct words of god in the all respective religions.
Why these religious books were written after the death of the prophets of respective religions by someone else?
Why other God or prophets didn’t wrote themselves?
Why didn’t they thought of it’s as a vital process of preserving their own uncorrupted real teachings?

Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji has 36 saint mystics which includes Sikh gurus (6 gurus), Bhagats (15 bhagats), Bhatts (11 bhatts) and gursikhs (4 gursikhs). It is the only religious script in the world that contains views and ideology of people of other religions, castes and creeds, including Muslim and Hindu Sages.

(2) All rest of the Holy books in this world asks it's subjects to only profess faith which it dictates and disregard other faiths but SGGS tells all humanity to remain firm to his/her own faith and respect others in equal manner.
(3) All other holy books of the world were written by the followers of its founders after they had left this world but only SGGS is written by the founders them self durning their lifetime and they them self introduced SGGS into this world.

(8) SGGS is the only holy book which does not belittles or defame other faiths rather helps those faiths by pointing out the wrong doings of certain hypocrites who are trying to take advantage of innocent people of that faith.
(9) In all of the world SGGS Ji is the only holy book which is written in very simple language that is easily understood in plain words. SGGS is the latest holy book which contains timeless teachings which will always be relevant in all times.
(10) Among all holy books of this world SGGS is the only holy book which was brought into this world after so much struggle and sacrifices that were made by the founders.
(11) Only SGGS Ji is completely written in rhythmic poetry which is organized in the Ragas, musical tones. Because of this SGGS is the only holy book whose text can be sung like songs with musical instruments.
(12) The text of most of the holy books of this world has been altered by unauthorized amendments but in SGGS it is not possible to do this because all of the text is in the form of rhythmic poetry which is organized in Ragas which are further stitched in a complex matrix number system. Even removing or adding one extra shabad/ piece of poetry will throw off all numbers resulting in immediate detection of unauthorized amendment.
