The phrase commentators used for Simon and Eagle with their drives was that they were "breaking the course." Turns out, what actually breaks the sport is being better at 40ft than most pros are at 25ft. Of course, he has the distance too...
@@garnerthecube I don't think I'm really that far out of line. I would bet Gannon's 40ft percentage > 50% of the MPO's 25ft percentage. We don't have an exact statistic for that, unfortunately.
@@untrustworthyshelfing9953 I'd wager that's not accurate either (I'd guess at 25 most pros are 70-80%), but your point is strong nonetheless. At 40ft, I'm giving him double the makes of the rest of the field on average, and that's a LOT of strokes.
His stroke is actually as far from “technical” as you could possibly get. Its literally one motion, hand to basket, to hip, back to basket. Rinse and repeat.
I wanna know if this was the most frustrating season for Rick or if it was to a point where you appreciate what the show and run the yougin was putting on.
It always comes down to who put the most time into practice. Gannon has done a lot of hidden work to earn this. Congratulations to him, that's the tenacity to look up to!
IMO, some serious sponsor with all the $$ needs to recognize this sport and this kids dedication, drive, talent, like ability, and take disc golf to another level we cant comprehend. Hes got a great story while being an even better role model for youth, the Midwest and prospective influencers. Cmon PDGA, use all that $$ to promote the sh!t out if this young man!

Gannon Burr🧊🧊🧊 Come on G!
It’s crazy how consistent he is with such a technical stroke. Unreal

You could absolutely say that about Wycocky though, I guess with enough reps consistency finds its way
5002370ft of putts made in this video.

Probably a mix of both

Buhr tinkered with his putting stroke so much this year while still grabbing wins. Like what in the world!?
Dat boy good
Love it!
This kids seems pretty good.
1070 is Impossible imo
Maybe we’ll see 1064/5 for one update
That is already averaging 3 less strokes per round than the robinsons
