I firmly believe the original lineup(80s) of The Church will be together again. Prob a new album and a tour. Just a brief union. 'They're not getting any younger' so it could be in the nxt 2 or 3 yrs. Well its a nice thought anyways
There is no chance whatsoever that will happen. Steve has given numerous interviews in recent times in which he reiterates it will never happen. Marty and Peter parted on bad terms and there is considerable ill feeling between them. And if we’re going to be really pedantic, the ‘original lineup’ lasted only one album anyway. Ergo my point being changes in personnel are inevitable in life and in rock bands.
So happy to have seen Marty and Olivia on this tour in Liverpool. Just a beautiful night, they both compliment each other so well, hope that they come back soon xx💖💖
Olivia and Marty sound great together. I really like Olivia's solo part on 'Almost... ' here. I'm used to the acoustic guitar taking this part. I love violin. Beautiful sound. Gypsy Stomp....
