Me and my boyfriend at the time loved this and eat our dinner while watching it every night. He was coming to do a live show in Portsmouth but I was pregnant so we couldn't afford it. Harry is one of a kind 👏 thanks for uploading this 👍
Time to rewatch more Harry during lockdown...this was a weird mix of old school comedy and complete ridiculousness. I remember the first time I watched this, laughing throughout while at the same time not having the slightest buggering clue what was going on. Genius. 😂😂
I love this programme but seriously how did it ever get on television? It is hardcore weird, it's almost like performance art and yet I remember this being on at 6pm on weekdays. 90s TV was a different planet
Well you’re probably like me; when you watched this for the first time you didn’t really find it funny. It’s because the jokes build from each episode so you really need to watch them in order to properly be in on the joke and enjoy the characters. Took me about 4 episodes to properly start getting it but I’m so glad I stuck with it as it’s one of the most unique and funniest comedies I’ve seen. What are the chances of that happening?
@@CJDJgamer A TV exec somewhere needs to have the balls to put un-PC comedy back on the air. There is very clearly an audience for it - anyone with half a brain can distinguish between comedy and inciting hatred.
Sorry Harry, but I found your new version of "Stars in their Eyes" felt more like a "Tongue in Cheek - Send Up" of the original show. There was just too much stupidity in it to take it seriously. But there again, isn't that what Harry does best. I suppose it was good for a laugh, but a shame that this once great show could have been used as a forum to let ordinary people showcase their talent, rather than another excuse for Harry to showcase his.

aw
RIP Burt Kwouk
Legend!
You know your getting old when your work mates only know Harry for UBF & TV Burp, and don't even understand the humour in this show. Siiiild!
Tv Burp makes me forget that Harry Hill is actually insane
I miss the old Channel 4.
Better times! Wish we could go back :(
One of my fave episodes from his entire run of shows. Alvin Stardust is a legend for his appearance!

The pace of this show is relentless! I'm getting a happy anxiety attack.

From memory, it was on at 10pm on a Friday night.
no it was on 9pm on sundays ch4
not weird, but whacky
Pretty sure it was on 9pm on a Friday
It was on Channel 5 - Every 2nd evening @ 7 o'clock sharp... If memory serves.
Happier times
Watched it the first time round and loved it then 20 odd years on I think it has retained a cleverness that I wasn’t really aware of .
Healthy mania 🤓
One very funny man surrounded by funny people good on you harry !

Same for me
You quite literally couldn't do half of these jokes now... Brilliant!
Absolutely brilliant
Gotta have a system.
Rest in peace Burt
Brilliant

The little hen dance at 15min 30secs RIP Burt.

13:27 tv burp before its time
10:10 haha i lost it
Bit of a poor mans vic and bob
Not at all. The Harry Hill was extremely funny for what it was. Prefer Vic and Reeves, but that’s not to say both can’t be enjoyed.
they're both great!
This ia terrible. Lucky he did Burp.

That didn’t age well
Paradoxically I find this show desperately unfunny, not even a smile! But in TV burp he had me in stitches every week with his delivery
I'm sitting here smiling like a moron after re-watching this 20 years later, it's still amazing imo
