Where I live if you go to the movies before 6pm it’s $5. And we have “dollar theaters” where they show 2nd run movies, it’s $2 a ticket, except on Tuesday’s where it’s 50 cents. If I’m not too excited to see a movie but I want to see it on the big screen, I wait a few months for it to show at the dollar theater 😁
Matinee movies are only $5.50 at one of the local mall's theaters here but before they remodeled it a few years back they had this other older movie theater in it that was built the same year as the mall (1990) ... and it showed second-run movies (like about a month or two after they first came out) for only $1.50 ... that theater was awesome sad that it is gone.
