They actually do. I applied for quicksilver n got it June with $500 credit line n last mnth it was increased to $1500, showing a decrease of -$500 because of 2 old accts that are in closed status, which I'm working, but they do giv increases. So check your history to see what's holding you back frm an increase.
I’m trying to get the cap1 venture X, my lowest score is 722 and highest is 742 but whenever I go for pre-approval they denied me due to length of credit history. My oldest card is 11 months and capital 1 is still seeing me as someone with “Good Credit” not excellent. My question is, would it be best to wait until the year hits to apply for it again or just wait until my credit score goes up? On another note I’m trying to get a quicksilver secured card to unsecured. I’ve had it since may but I’ve had no luck getting any changes on it. I usually pay it in full and let no balance report but this time I’ll report a balance just to see if that causes any changes Idk the card limit is only 200 and it’s kinda useless any ideas are welcomed.
Definitely go for it. I had a savor card SL of 2k but with somewhat high usage and adding 2 AU they increased it by 3500 to now 5500 all within 3 months. Capital one has no problems increasing the limit if they see your using the card responsibly and are swipe happy 😂
Capital one is the only one giving me a hard time
Same. Every time it's a different excuse
Ngl cap1 is trash
Capital one is the most strict in increasing your credit limit.Let them increase for you.
Great information
Capital one doesn't give increases. Who you kiddin
