Because EPA came down hard on harley a few years back. My old 2020 street bob soft tail with stock exhaust sounded the same too. Two in one basanni road rage exhaust, heavy breather intake and tune fixed that right up
I rode one of these during a demo, and it was amazing with the exception of the riding position. I ended up with a Nightster, which has a smaller version of the same engine, and it's been my favorite bike ever. Keep the shiny side up!
It’s not supposed to sound like a “typical” Harley. Its design is more performance based. I like the traditional Harley thunder exhaust note and the hardcore Harley folks will dismiss this bike due to the lack of rumble. Beautiful bike though kudos to the design and performance team.

In my opinion the sound is very good but unfortunately too quiet, of course, it doesn't have to be incredibly loud but a little louder so that the sound is better emphasized
I find it too quiet, what I think is a pity is that after you take your foot off the gas, you sometimes "shoot" after bubbling, which unfortunately you can hardly hold on to the camera, I have to try to film it somehow differently so that you can possibly notice the whole thing

Yes, it's relatively compact, but that can happen with such a sleek design, but you shouldn't underestimate the bike, it's by no means slow and it's a lot of fun in terms of acceleration and driving
It's not the same, but I notice that with more heat the exhaust shoots a little I would like to try to show some things in a couple of videos I hope that man can reproduce that a little bit
Stock M8s don’t sound great either. But with cam compression & the right pipe.. yep they can still sound pretty sweet. With the Revolution Max you already have the cam n compression. The cam sound is just smoothed out by variable valve timing. So you just need the right pipe. With a 60 degree V It won’t sound signature HD but it will sound like a healthy modern V twin and dramatically better than stock. There are already several pipes for the Pan-American.

At least the m8 can be properly upgraded to sound like a harley. The revolution engine is something else. Sounds nothing like a harley. Ive heard exhaust upgrade vids...the sound just isnt there. Sounds like a Japanese bike all the way.
