walt saw nostalgia as a way to bring the family unit together and a way to cheer up a post war america with the movies music and film. this is way most of the older films are set later as a way to bring those back to a child like state. basically walt made escapism very popular lol

When you are a kid you always want to grow up fast to the things adults can do… but when you are a adult.. you think back about the times where there was no stress. When the world was innocent. Ive been listening to this almost every night for like a year before i go to bed and i look forward to it every time… the feeling never goes away it feels childhood… it literally temporarily teleports me to my childhood bedroom and relaxes me so much. Never take this down its perfect.

I remember when i was 4, after i had a bad day from school i would cuddle up to my mom and dad, watching cinderella over and over again. i still do that, just without my dad. fly high papa🕊️
