My heart is stirred up in praise, burning with grace, filled with joy and peace, whenever I sing this song of praise to God, and eventually led to repentance. 🙌🙏
Magaling yung choir. Pero I would suggest not to change the lyrics of this version dahil it sounded awkward kasi ipinilit lang yung current missal translation sa original music na intended sa lyrics na ginamit ni Fr. Manoling. Kung gusto niyo gumamit ng current missal translation ng Gloria it would the best to sing the new songs instead of changing the old ones. Pabayaan na yung old lyrics. Besides if you look closely yung version ni Fr. Manoling and yung Gloria sa Latin, mas malapit ito compared sa current Missal version. CBCP should start updating the missal since nagiging inaccurate na yung current.

Mas tama po yung luwalhati kase yun po ang direct translation ng glory. While puri is tagalog for praise. Eh Gloria po yan Hindi praise.
Hindi pa naman po nakasulat sa Missal, so basically, tama parin ang Papuri. Kapag nagtranslate ulit ng Pagmimisa sa Roma, dun lang po magiging mali ang "Papuri".
I have long been wondering about the same thing, and I agree with your observation pero ang current version ng missal uses papuri. I think it's about time that the liturgical text should revert to a closer translation from Latin, in the same way that ICEL released the 3rd edition of the English translation of the Roman Missal.
@@pigulus CBCP should consider na talaga, US already reverted to the closer Latin translation,

“mga taong kinalulugdan niya” is NOT equal to “people of goodwill” or in Latin “homínibus bonæ voluntátis”. It is still “mga taong may mabuting kalooban”
This is very confusing. Paano po naging corrected text ito kung very far from the Latin text??
Marahil ay kaya ito naging "corrected text" ay ang kinuhang salin ay ang makikita sa Aklat ng Pagmimisa sa Roma na siyang opisyal at aprubadong translasyon ng Vatican na gamitin para sa tagalog. Totoo na mas malapit sa orihinal ang salin ang "Luwalhati" at "mga taong may mabuting kalooban" at napakarami nang kailangan itama sa Aklat ng Pagmimisa sa Roma, ngunit hangga't hindi ito pinapalitan ng CBCP at Lupon Para Sa Wikang Tagalog Sa Liturhiya, mananatiling akma ang mga salin sa Aklat na Pagmimisa sa Roma na gaya ng pagtatama sa "corrected version" na ito.

Yes, mas tama ang “mga taong may mabuting kalooban” if ibebase natin sa original Latin. Pero ang approved translation kasi sa Aklat ng Pagmimisa sa Roma is “sa mga taong kinalulugdan niya.”
