- Take a ride with mk6guy and I as we make a 7 hr drive to pick up my new ride! Initially this was done as a reveal, but it's no surprise now so I changed the title! Less then 5 days in my Hellcat and already have 800 on the odometer, so much fun to drive. A horrible daily though lol I've filled up 6 times already 4 of those on the first day lol

How loud is the supercharger and do you have to push the throttle hard to hear the whine ? Supercharger whine is the reason I want this car
@@Youno954 honestly for .me it was barely noticeable during normal driving, and even when flooring it still isn't as loud as I hoped. But a CAI definitely will fix that!
Plan to do this when I reorder mine. I had a red one that got totaled by some jackass who can't tell the difference between a red light and a green light

That's the exact color and package I want. I work for VW so right now I'm "stuck" in an Audi S5, but as soon as this lease runs out, I'm going for that ride!

Break in period is very rigorous on the Hellcat...0-100 miles, 100-300, 300-500 and no track days until after 1,500 miles. I did it in mine.

Both colors are great, but IndiGO is definitely a show stopper. Definitely agree with the emotions on the Hellcat, felt the same way when I traded my Challenger Scat.

I bought a fully loaded 2016 yellow and black hemi sport 4x4 sport crewcab (51k msrp) LOVE IT STILL!
i'm a cross country truck driver so it only gets driven when I come home. It just turned 6,900 miles on it. Yes that's right 7k miles only. The dealer about shit when I checked in for its first oil change even though it still showed 25% life left.
Dodge has a special on synthetic oil & filler changes. 3 for $95.....
This is what I was searching for. I have a 2020 frostbite but want to do red interior. Wasn’t sure. Still trying to figure it out. Badass look fir your car though. Frostbite is just a different blue. That’s a fire interior though

Congratulations! Looks beautiful inside out! The Red interior does look very cool! I'm considering this Beast for 2019 when my present lease is over! I'm a fan of turbos but this has plenty of awesome power for a daily driver with all the cabin space! But I wish Dodge added more tech options such as front camera and sensors with turn signal lights on the mirror caps! Enjoy :))

I hope you know when u put in that half throttle you just slightly messed up the engine.. if u read the manufacturer recommendations it says not to go over certain rpm I believe it’s 4000 for the first 500 miles to break it in. I also hope you changed the oil after that first 500 miles
It's all good man. These engines are designed to be driven out the factory. The break in periods are more like guidelines. Literally every car that's sold on a lot is floored a few times if it's test driven. It's not going to hurt anything. Also, when I did this it had almost 400 miles on it.

I want to get the 2019 Destroyer Gray Charger Scat on a lease because I’m afraid that’s the only way I will be able to afford one. Looking forward to putting the numbers together to see what happens :)

I wanted to get one cheap. Redeye is gonna be over 1k/mo to lease easy, and I didn't want a 1320, I just traded in a 392 and wanted a Charger anyway.

Since you work for a Dodge dealer, I was hoping you could answer this for me. I've wanted a Scat Pack for the past 2 years or so, but I hate the Nappa Leather seats. Cloth is not an option...so it seems the Hellcat is my only option? Does your Hellcat have all leather seats due to an upgrade, or is that standard? Again, I can't stand the Nappa leather. I want my seats to be shiny, and homogenous. I do not like the clothlike feel of the Nappa seats.
With that out of the way, what are my premium options in Chargers and Challengers in the 2018 or 2019 lineup? Do the trims above the Scat Pack have all leather seats as options? Clearly, your Hellcat does, but I'm not sure if that's standard or an upgrade. What about the SRT trims? Do they have an all leather option for seating?
I think you may have it backwards. Nappa is soft like regular "smooth" leather that you can use conditioners on. Alcantara is the suede-like leather. There is no "Full" smooth leather option for the Scat Pack. You would have to find a left over 2018 SRT 392. They have full Laguna like the Hellcats.

Ah yes... Thanks for correcting me. I recall the word "alcantara" now. I wasn't sure if Dodge had changed anything. The last models I looked into were the 2017s. Have you heard any criticism of the alcantara or is it generally well accepted? I suppose it "grips" better...
I had it on my Scat Pack. I liked it just fine. Only I don't like is how it's "directional" and can look different when the hairs are messed up

I love that interior color that's a nice car. Will those 2018 rims with 275 tires fit on a 2014 SRT8? ANd yes the 6.2 liter SC in the Hellcat is not as jerky as the 6.4 liter 392. The one in my 2014 SRT8 is even more jumpy. I think its also the transmission. The 8 speed is much smoother than the older 5 speed automatic.

Thanks for the response. A while back someone had told me the 275 tires will rub on the fender. My car has the stock rims with 245's. I just really want wider tires which wont fit on the stock rim but I like the new 5 spoke wheels.

In your honest opinion since you’ve owned the 392 as well is it worth jumping up to the hellcat from a scat is it way more fun to drive? I want an owner’s personal opinion
While the Hellcat makes awesome noises, and is a beast...if I could go back in time...I would like to still have my Scat Pack. You need to daily drag radials to even have a chance at pulling out in front of traffic, and there is no MDS which means gas mileage sucks if you care about that. So all around for price/comfort/noises/speed. I'd keep the Scat. It would've been paid off by now lol

Is there is big difference in the power between scat and cat. I think one has 485 and the other 707 but can you feel the difference.
