A late season outing to the Lake.
Fantastic sport with very hard fighting rainbows.
A reasonable day weather wise given the time of year.
The Lake's fish never fail to amaze us with their unstoppable power and incredible speed.

Ken, Enjoyed it. Thanks. I note that you like to get your fish on the reel, which I do also. But, most UK stillwater fly fishers I see on TH-cam don't---they strip in their line, not putting the fish on the reel. Don't know if that's because they prefer to "feel" the fish on the line or whether it's because it makes it easier to recast without having to pull line off the reel. For me, the pros/cons of one technique over the other balance in favor on getting the fish on the reel as soon as possible. I believe I have better control over the fish, but also importantly, I don't have to worry about the stripped in line getting tangled up in the boat.
