Strange for a Disney series, their relationship doesn't feel forced and it actually grew naturally. You could say these two were going to end up together, yet the story was still well-written. And even by watching this, you can see their hugs have turned from friendly affection to romantic tension. Ross and Laura sure did a good job with catching that friends to lovers performance during the series.
If you watch interviews with Ross to this day the love is still completely there for Laura and vice versa.Their love is so pure.Ross talks about her still a lot - they were definitely in love at one point whether as best friends or more who knows - but their chemistry just flows so well and the love clearly shows through the Tv Screen and grew through each season
They are the most non-toxic couple in Disney Channel history IMO. They break up 3 times because (1) they didn't want to ruin their songwriting partnership (2) Ally didn't want to make Austin choose between her and his career although he quickly said "screw that" and chose her (3) when Austin went on a global tour and Ally went to Harvard but they still loved each other so much that it was painful for them to even see each other (and then when they come back to town Trish and Dez make the unilateral decision to get them back together). Meanwhile other Disney shows have people cheating on each other and all that. The most toxic thing they do is Austin meeting with another songwriter and Ally questioning their partnership when they met. I'm 20 y/o and I have never seen a relationship that pure
That was the biggest fight they had, but thanks to Trish and Dez, our Auslly shippers and Cupids, they were able to fix it.
And the other problem they had was when Austin was unsure about Ally and Kira. It's funny to think that thanks to her they realized what was going on there.
You are referring to Teddy and Spencer right? You can say their names so everyone knows the worst ships with Maddie and Diggie and Riley and Lucas. Every ship should know their names hoping not to be like them. XD but seriously those are crap. I agree totally with your comment too!!!
@@florentinenice9146 jeez teddy and Spencer Riley and Lucas are the absolute worst Spencer I mostly remember being a dumb*ss in that show cheating w the smoothie girl while with teddy which sucked and Riley/Lucas was bad from the start to me could never seem to choose each other and so weird that Disney did that in a show where they’re supposed to be so young

@@florentinenice9146 and Miley and Jake .. didn’t he cheat on her too and than Miley ended up with Jesse in the end and I used to love her and Jake together .. that was a blow and yes teddy and Spencer ugh 😩 I was so disappointed! Idk about Riley and the other guy I’m a little older 😂😂

It's a pretty organic way to skip around the stupid '1 kiss per season' limit by Disney Channel. You still felt all the emotion every time. Plus they actually got a season 4 without adding a subtitle or changing the legal name of the show. That's mean alot for old time Disney Channel and only a few shows got that right. (Adding a subtitle or changing the legal name of the show is a way they cut costs and avoid paying their actors more, like in Hannah Montana Forever and Liv & Maddie: LA).
Back when Disney had actors who could actually act well. I miss it so much😭😭

They were genuinley the best couple on disney channel, I love how they grew up and the audience grew up we get to see their relationship progress. You rarley get that on disney channel, you hardly see them kiss since it's for kids but I feel like even though its cheesy i can still watch this show as an adult and enjoy it. We even get a happy ending with them having kids - so wholesome
Austin and Ally are easily one of my favorite Disney couples. The scene where Austin announced his love for Ally to the world and kissed her onstage is so romantic. 💖💖

It's 2022 I'm almost 22 and I still think it's the best Disney Channel couple ever and one of the best show ❤ Great plot, relation building from friend- to relationship (even their hugs were developed), cute, understending, supporting. And through the seasons they become more mature In one word healthy. And through the seasons they become more mature. Acting and songs were brillliant too.

Actually there is nothing confusing about the ending,the last episode is Duets& Destiny they got back together and years later they are married with 2 kids. That's a pretty good ending
