      Hello, net-snmp package supports all three versions, you just configure what is required.

    When i running "snmpwalk -v 2c -c 'rocommunity' localhost" command , it feed me "Timeout: No Response from localhost" back , no idea why, any Suggestion will be thanksfor

      Configuration "rocommunity public default" creates a read-only access community with the community name "public" and is accessible to all hosts. Ensure that you are using the correct community string name and not its access type. In your case "snmpwalk -v 2c -c public localhost". Check that snmpd service is running "systemctl status snmpd" and that access for localhost is permitted by snmpd configuration and maybe a firewall.

      To query devices you need only snmp tools like snmpget/snmpbulkget, snmpwalk/snmpbulkwalk and OIDs of interest.

    It says netstat command not found

    • @bryhtnet
      @bryhtnet  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If netstat utility is not pre-installed, you can use "ss -ltn" as alternative or install "net-tools" package which includes netstat utility. Take into account that this step is not obligatory.
